Every time your chef cooks a meal to heal your teammates during battle, they gradually get their stomach filled. As this happens the teammate’s speed and physical attack lowers. Teammates can get so full to the point they are immobilized and can’t attack anymore. It also makes it so that they can’t eat HP bananas and MP candies.

The guardian spirit doesn’t bestow any jobs to you and your teammates to help you. They just tell you to think of some way to defeat the Dark Lord. That leaves you and the others to suffer with low defenses and weak punches.

If your team gets defeated in any phase of the Darker Lord battles, they die. All of them. Then the game resets itself so that the only way for you to rematch the Darker Lord you have to play the entire game again up until that point.
