I often think about how the Darker Lord's final form kind of resembles a biblically accurate angel, which can sort of be interpreted as... becoming a god?

Anyway, with this in mind, I think it's not a coincidence that THAT was the final form the Dark Curse wound up taking, and I also think that there's actually some significance to it. There's at least one god in all religions I know of, and people respect said god and often look to the god for guidance. Most importantly, however, is that the god is someone everyone knows.

I can't help but think, if you spent so much time getting ignored in your usual form, wouldn't you want to take on a different one that everyone already loves, given the chance?

yooo this is a really good point- now that i think about it the whole coin-looking theme is scarily similar to the way angels are supposed to look like a bunch of rings, it’s just uncanny. but the curse taking control in a god form? that’s just genius!

I went overboard with this one. 

Jumped on the bandwagon of 'draw your Darker/Darkest Lord doing that Kill-la-Kill pose' but I replaced my MH with Chef Val since she's dating my Great Sage.
