Hey, I'm the anon who requested the Deryck Whibley / warlock moodboard. For Bands and Monsters October, can you write a story where the girl (Teresa) and Warlock!Deryck go out for dinner at a fancy restaurant, and this rich family at the next table is being rude to their waiter, so Deryck uses his magic to screw with them (for example, pushing over their wine glasses with his mind or causing their salads to wilt)? Thanks!
Warlock🌙🔮-(Noun) A male who practices witchcraft; a sorcerer.
The night was filled with beauty, the air was nice and cool and the moon was glowing brighter than ever with it’s gorgeous silver color. It was a perfect night, Deryck couldn’t help but admire the way the black sky pulled him in, his magic tingling inside of him as his eyes stared into the darkness with pure love and admiration. But there was someone in his life that he found even more radiant than the night, even more perfect than the moon and the billions and billions of stars themselves, and that was his girlfriend Teresa. He always thanked his goddess for helping him find a woman like her to make him happy and feel even more magical than he already felt. Of course it took some time for him to confess to her that he is a warlock and reveal his amazing powers, but when he did, it was the best decision he ever made in his life besides winning her heart.
Teresa wasn’t like most girls, when she saw Deryck’s true side she had nothing but a huge smile on her face, nothing but pure love and acceptance. That’s how he knew that she was indeed the one, the last woman whom he thought was the one completely freaked out and ran out of his life forever. Because automatically doing witchcraft meant the person was pure evil and worked for the devil when in fact witches are just lovers and servants of nature. Sure there are people who do dark magic to harm others, but that didn’t mean everyone else does the same. She understood this completely, and she found that having a boyfriend who is unique and special is pretty damn awesome. Just thinking about her and bringing back these wonderful memories to his mind made him beam so much, he wanted to celebrate that, he wanted to celebrate her.
So tonight, he told his special lady to get ready and put on her best dress, he is going to take her out to one of the most fanciest restaurants in the city, and just have the most romantic, candle lit dinner just the two of them.
He took a deep breath before looking up at the moon one last time, praying to his goddess that the evening goes well and may it be one of the most unforgettable nights of their lives, especially when they get home afterwards. He didn’t know why he was feeling nervous, it wasn’t the first time they went out together like this but he guessed that he was so in love with her that after all this time of being together he still got nervous like a high school nerd trying to get at the cheerleader. Even that made him grin from ear to ear.
“You almost ready babe?!” Deryck called out as he stood away from the window and walked over to his altar, grabbing the pentagram necklace that was on top of his deck of tarot cards and proceeding to put it around his neck.
“Yeah almost baby! Just gotta finish curling my hair!”
“You know I could do that for you in one snap of my fingers right?!” He chuckled, approaching the stairs and leaning against the banister. He could practically envision her rolling her eyes as he heard her giggle. “Yeah yeah I know you can! But they still wouldn’t come out the way I want them to!”. “Oh?! Are you doubting my magic?”. Teresa let out another giggle, “No no I’m not just let me do this love!” Deryck shook his head in amusement, she was just the most adorable person he had the pleasue of having in his life. He figured she was gonna be a few more minutes so went back to his altar and opened one of the drawers, reaching in and taking out a small box with a nice purple bow wrapped around it. He was going to save this little present for her birthday, but he figured tonight was a good ocassion to give it to her as well.
He opened the box and admired the necklace Teresa was about to recieve, but it was no ordinary piece of jewelry, it was an amethyst crystal, which many believe to protect it’s owners from negetive energy, Deryck had casted a special spell on it just for a little extra boost. His girlfriend loved when he talked to her about crystals and their purposes, and her favorite gemstone happened to be amethyst, in fact she even said she would love give their future daughter that name, so he was sure that she would love his precious gift.
“How do I look?” Deryck then heard Teresa’s voice right behind him. It caused to him to slightly flinch and turn around instantely to face her. He was about to say something but of course he was at a complete loss for words, she looked magnificent! “Damn baby girl. You always look hot as hell but now...damn.” Her hypnotizing eyes squinted in laughter, she always loved the way he became all dorky whenever she dressed up more than she usually did. “You are so fucking cute.”. “And you’re hot as hell!” Deryck happily exclaimed. “Of course you could be wearing a messy bun with sweats and no makeup and I’ll still think that.” She couldn’t help but blush at his sweetness, immediately she walked up and wrapped her arms around his neck, their lips barely inches away from each other, “Well you’re hot as hell too my sweet magical man.” With that she leaned right in and gave him the most passionate kiss she could give.
“Do I really look okay? I know this place is fancy so I don’t want to be underdressed you know?”. “No no babe you’re not underdressed at all in fact you look perfect.” The warlock complimented once more, making her already red cheeks turn a shade darker if that was even possible, but then he gave her a thinking expression that made her start thinking herself... “What is it?” “Oh nothing nothing, it’s just that now that I’m looking at your dress here-“ “What? What’s wrong with it?” She frantically asked. “Nothing sweetheart just think that it’s missing a little something.”
As Deryck said before, with one snap of his fingers the dress began to glow with glitter forming on it, making it as sparkly as the night sky itself. Teresa’s mouth dropped wide open in happiness and amazement to see how much better the dress looked with glitter, she never even imagined it like this before, it truly was the perfect touch. “You know I don’t think I’m ever gonna get tired of that.” She chuckled. “Me either.” He agreed, and she became even more surprised at the open necklace box he presented to her. “I figure it could use a nice necklace too.” “Honey, holy shit this is beautiful! Is this really for me?”. “Of course, only the best for my girl.” He said, putting the beautiful piece around her neck. His lips pressed to her sweet spot giving her a quick but passionate peck. “It’s going to protect you when I’m not around.” “Thank you baby. I love it, and I love you.”
Their romantic evening began as soon as they set foot in the restaurant. Teresa was admiring how fancy and elegant the place was, from the crystal chandeliers in the ceiling to the golden napkins neatly folded on the silk covered tables. She had to admit it was a bit overwhelming to her, after all she was used to just eating at places like buffalo wild wings, she was never an expensive woman. Deryck loved that about her, but there was nothing wrong with treating her to places like this atleast once in a while, after all she is his queen and she should be treated as royalty not just emotionally and physically but materalistically as well. The waitors at the place were such nice people, very friendly and helpful with choices people were having difficulty making, since everything on the menus looked absolutely delicious.
“May I start the lovely couple off with some of our finest wine?” The man asked with a smile.
“That’s your call princess.” Deryck said to her. “Um yeah that sounds good right now sir thank you.” The waitor immediately left to go get the bottle, and the warlock reached out across the table and took his love’s soft hands, tenderly bringing them up to his lips to kiss her knuckles. “The perfect night, the perfect place with the most perfect girl.” “Right back at ya handsome.” He kissed her knuckles one last time before noticing the candles on the table werent lit. With one latin word they all lit up brightly at the same time causing Teresa to gasp and look around to make sure nobody saw. “Babe be careful! Last thing I want is to punch somebody for calling you a freak.” “Hahah relax Teresa you know if someone called me that I would just set them on fire.”
She laughed and playfully shook her head but still looking at him with the most loving eyes in the world. As the night continued, things were going great, great food, great liquor, great service, great attitudes all around and joy and laughter. But that was soon interrupted by the scene that was being caused by some snobby rich family that say and yelled in the table that was behind Deryck and Teresa. These people were just awful, the same waitor that was servicing the couple was servicing them but boy how he wished he was serving another table, anyone but this one. They were literally those type of people who walked around like their shit didn’t stink, especially the father of the family, never failing to talk down to the poor worker as if he was God himself. Deryck wasn’t liking this one bit, neither were the others who sat at the tables around them. At one point even the manager had to come out and try to reason with the man, but it only got him angrier and more annoying.
“Just ignore them sweetie.” Teresa suggested, taking a sip from her red alcoholic liquid while reaching to hold his hand again, she could easily see how tense he was getting.
“You call this piss fine wine?! Seriously?! I had shit from seven eleven taste better than this crap! Take it back and actually bring us something good this time! And for the love of God don’t screw up like you have been this whole evening!” The old man exclaimed. Absolutely humiliating the waitor, he felt so much embarassment. Deryck turned around to face the ugly personality that sat behind him. He could feel the strong negetive energy, clearly seeing how dark his aura was. “And they say we’re the evil ones.” He muttered to himself. Suddenly he found himself face to face with the male. “You got something to say young man?!” Deryck was about to give a brutal reply but a hand squeeze from Teresa told him not to. “No, not at all.” “Exactly what I thought.” The pathetic human shot, if only he knew who he was messing with. “Hey.” Teresa called, making him turn back to her. “No magic please.” She whispered. “Don’t worry about a thing doll.” He assured.
Truth was he was more than willing to hex the old fart and his wife and kids for not stopping his outbursts and for also behaving badly themselves. But he just basically promised his love he wouldn’t use his magic on them and he was willing to keep his word, until the waitor came back and yet another outburst happened. Not only that, one of the kids threw their food at the waitor making him drop everything and create a huge mess. Poor unfortunate soul almost looked like he was about to break down and he was the nicest in the restaurant, He didn’t deserve to be put through this misery. And what did the parents do? Nothing, nothing at all.
This was the last straw for Deryck, end of the line. And since he’s a powerful warlock, he didn’t even have to snap his fingers in order for his powers to go to work. He could do it all in his mind. He continued to eat his meal, and sip his wine, casually like nothing happened, meanwhile the rude family began to freak out and scream out of nowhere...
Their wine glasses exploded, staning their expensive, designer clothes.
Their salads and pastas began to rot causing a very foul odor to wave in the air along with insects crawling out of the plates.
The candles would suddenly fall onto the cloths, catching the entire table on fire along with their clothes.
The worst part of it all...only they could see what was raining down upon them, everyone else, including Teresa couldn’t see what was happening to them, all except Deryck of course, who was still acting like nothing was going on at all.
“The hell is going on with them?” She inquired.
“Beats me.” Her man shrugged. All of the other customers were looking at their whole scene strangely as well, talking amongst themselves and asking the same questions. Although it didn’t take long for Teresa to find out what was really happening.
“Deryck. What are you doing to them?” “What are you talking about? They’re just acting like bigger jackasses than they already were.” She raised a very high and sharp eyebrow at him, as if to tell him that she’s not stupid and he better give her the correct answer. A loud and rough huff in annoyance escaped his lips meanwhile the family immediately grabbed their things and just ran out of the place like maniacs. He watched them in amusement, but Teresa was not feeling the same, as soon as he faced her once more, her expression remained the same, stern. Deryck however couldn’t contain his laughter. “Oh come on babe don’t act like they didn’t deserve it! I mean look at what they did to our poor waitor! Dude is probably in the bathroom crying his eyes out!” She must admit that he was right, those jerks did deserve it.
And speaking of their waitor, he came back over to them, when he saw the those people had left he had such relief in his eyes. “Well, now that I don’t have to deal with those people anymore, can I interest you folks in desert?” “Um, before I even answer that, weren’t you covered in food just a minute ago?” The girl spoke. “Oh yes I was but by the time I got to the bathroom, this will sound crazy but I was as clean as a whistle.” Teresa smiled at her boyfriend who was already giving her a smirk. “You know what? I think we’re good for tonight, we’ll just finish up our wine here.” She answered. “Oh okay that’s perfect, I’ll go get the check for you folks.” “Actually we had another waitor bring us that for you, so we already got that done. Here you go.” Deryck spoke up this time. The check book looked flat and empty, until the hard working man opened it up and to his shocking suprise a big bundle of 100 dollar bills appeared. “Oh my goodness, how was this in here?! I-Is this my tip?”
“All yours my friend.” Deryck confirmed, raising his glass to him. The man lost count of how many thank yous he gave him in excitement and ran off to show off to his co workers. Teresa was touched, knowing that her boyfriend only used his magic for the good of others. She raised her glass to him to this time, concluding the perfect evening with...
HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
