The Making of Us, the Intellect Devourer, from Baldur's Gate 3
Us was a fun build for me. I was bringing my Tiefling Bard Tav to LACC for the Cosplay National Championship and wanted something fun and extra to bring across the stage with me!
The build started life as a mop bucket, filled with old scrap, then covered in expanding foam. I used scraps of upholstery foam (left from my tiefling tail!) to form the bases of the arms and legs, which then got covered in Worbla. I piped spackle (in a pastry bag) for extra brainy details. I used foam clay for the veiny bits and to cover the tentacles. Then it was painted and high glossed for extra slimy shine!
