Someone I used to be friends with - can I even call it that? She did some awful, awful stuff - But she was alt, okay? Self-proclaimed. She would brag about listening to Korn, System Of a Down, Nirvana, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, Tokio Hotel, and much more. She was *so* niche!! She was *different*!! (no, she definitely wasn't)

She would also talk about how she HATED emos. Which didn't sit right with me anyway, because they're all a part of the same kinda circle, right? Alt, Emo, all of that. But she didn't hate Gerard Way because he was so hot and submissive. Okay. Right.

I don't like using the word poser in an accusing way too much, but it was so obvious that she was pretending because she thought it made her cool.. So, in her case, yeah, she was definitely a poser. There was so much more she did, like constantly sexualising these men and going on to brag about her PORN FOLDERS of them.. But maybe that's for another day.
