Wtf Dad...

So I was practicing baton and I nailed the first half of a monster roll (which is something I've been practicing for about two years) and I wanted to show my dad and he's like "aren't you too old for that?"... are you kidding me? TOO OLD? I'm only 19. I honestly don't think he understands just how much I love twirling. It isn't something I just do in my spare time. Its my life. Its ALL I do. I go to work all day then twirl my baton all nigh til bed then I repeat the process. That is my life. I've worked my ass off for seven years. SEVEN. FUCKING. YEARS. To get where I am today in my twirling career and he doesn't even care. I'm not good at anything else. Seriously, I'm not even exaggerating. So I try to be the best at twirling to show my dad that I'm not the lazy waste of space he thinks I am. Just the fact that he doesn't even give a fuck is upsetting. Ugh.
