The second issue striving not to lose the success of the first, is also full of events and new characters. It is reported on TV that the brilliant scientist Baxter Stockman developed special robots called Mousers to fight rodents, and April programmed them (she is not a reporter here). However, the scientist’s thoughts are not so generous, because his creations are destroying the basis of buildings and for their safety he anonymously demands money (actually, Stockman claims that he's doing it for thrill of it and not for profit). Unlike the first issue, which operated more in the genre of action packed movies about revenge and martial arts, here the narrative is more like a thriller - an implacable horde of iron murderers eating away everything in their path, a cunning plan of an evil scientist, the inability to rely on brute force only. Thanks to a sharp change in the genre, screenwriters masterfully hold readers attention and show that they can surprise, in addition, due to the specifics of the opponents, it became easier to reflect some special features of the turtles, for example, Donatello’s technical abilities which helps heroes to survive.
Fun fact - April was just April in this issue, there were simply not enough time to come up with her last name.

Второй номер, не желая растерять успех первого, преисполнен событиями и новыми персонажами. По телевизору передают, что гениальный учёный Бакстер Стокман разработал специальных роботов Маусеров для борьбы с грызунами, а вот программировала их Эйприл, которая здесь вовсе не телерепортёр. Впрочем, помыслы учёного не так великодушны, ведь его создания промышляют подкопами, разрушающими основу зданий и за их протекцию он анонимно требует деньги. В отличие от первого номера, который больше оперировал форматом боевиков про месть и восточные единоборства, здесь повествование больше похоже на триллер - неумолимая орда железных убиийц сносящих всё на своём пути, хитроумный план злого учёного по выкачиванию денег из общества (причём, Стокман утверждает, что делает это для развлечения, а не ради выгоды), невозможность положиться только на грубую силу. Благодаря резкой смене жанра сценаристы мастерски удерживают внимание и показывают, что могут удивлять, кроме того, за счёт специфики противников получается отразить некоторые особенности черепашек, например, технические способности Донателло помогают им спастись.
Забавный факт - к этому номеру Эйприл была просто Эйприл, на то чтобы придумать ей фамилию банально не хватило времени.
