@nickanimationstudio is back with new animated shorts — and in a new venue: Facebook.
Nickelodeon’s animated shorts program, which launched in 2012 and brought us animated shows like Breadwinners and The Loud House, has finally released the 2016 shorts on their new page, Facebook.com/NickAnimatedShorts, just a day after releasing this sizzle reel teaser.
So far, Nickelodeon has released four of the shorts on Facebook: Dog and Squirrel, Slimelab, My Friend Pancake and Best Baddies. Below is the full list of shorts and their creators, including four international entries (denoted by *).

I’m so glad so many creators can have their work showcased through talent development programs like this. And not just because I can’t stop laughing at the screenshots from Someone Needs to Stop Aunt Phyllis. (BUT. LOOK. AT. PHYLLIS. Definitely needs to be stopped.)

My Jack in the Box Monster Taco Review
If you live in an area where there's a Jack in the Box on every other corner, you've undoubtedly heard by now that they're bringing back a food item called the "Monster Taco". There's Nacho, Regular, and Bacon Ranch (choices are always good!). I was tempted by the picture in their advertisement, because damn does that taco look good.
Looks delicious, right? Right. So, the other day, I decided to go and buy myself one and try that meaty, cheesy, spicy taco of deliciousness myself.
There it was, in all of its greasy fast food chain glory. It was a fairly decent size, and smelled wonderful. Without thinking or even looking at the damn thing, I jumped in headfirst and took a big ol' bite out of the Monster Taco.
Bad idea. It took me by surprise, to be honest, but when I looked down at the taco in my hand, I could understand why.
The tortilla was burnt, first of all. There was that crunch, but the taste was incredibly disappointing. The cheese, although good, was not enough to mask the fact that (warning: if you enjoy Jack in the Box tacos, you probably better stop reading right now) the meat was nothing but a mush that tasted somewhat like beef. There was also no sign of jalapeno peppers anywhere.
I almost threw it away right then and there, but then I paused for a moment.
I just spent some of my very hard-earned money on this thing. Sure, the first bite wasn't that great at all (quite disgusting, actually) but I hadn't even had a pepper yet! Maybe the jalapeno peppers were the backbone of this whole taco, and just one bite of those spicy bastards would magically turn this thing from a piece of crap to a taco fit for the American public.
Nope. Even after finding some jalapenos, it still tasted like crap. Here's another pic so you can see the inside of the taco.
Look at it. Look how awful that thing is in comparison to the picture in the advertisement. And it wasn't even one of those things where "yeah, it obviously doesn't look like the picture, but it's still good". No, this thing looked shitty and tasted shitty. Just. Look at that nasty meat mush (if it's even meat...honestly, the more I think about it, the more I question what exactly was in that taco). Even Taco Bell's tacos with the original meat tasted better than this thing did (and that's saying a lot).
I am ashamed to admit that I actually ate the whole thing. I spent the money on it, and I'd be a real piece of shit to throw out a somewh decen shit, I can't even type it out. This thing was really gross, and I probably should have thrown it out. That being said, I will never touch a Jack in the Box taco ever again.
My rating? 3/10 (And the only reason it's not lower is because the cheese was actually the only decent thing on the whole taco.) But seriously, stay away from the meat mush.
This was a vegan Monster Taco from Vegeria. It was pretty good. I got a nopales type of tamale. The black beans were good too, had a bbq type of taste to it.
Wizard Taryn vs. Monster Taco! Just for fun! Taryn wanted a drawing of her as a wizard, maybe including a taco or lightning bolts, so I drew a lightning zapping wizard Taryn fighting a mutant mega monster taco!
