This’ll probably be the last time I bother you with s41 but I just finished your lovely story and I can say with one hundred percent certainty that I would rather get a cartel death than never have read that I’m kicking my legs and giggling ( it was a little confusing at the end but I’m a seasoned Akira fan so it all works out) and again thank you for responding to the first question man much obliged 🙏🙏🙏
HELLO!! You are quite the fast reader oh my,, thank you for reading the insanity that was Monster Cookie Au that me and my friend wrote during the peak of the pandemic and among us’ popularity,,
Apologies for the nightmare that is the ending it was very abrupt and confusing intentionally bc we were just going by vibes and ideas me and friend conjured at 3 in the morning, without any proper proof reading from both sides
WARNING//(Gore, Injury, Violence, Mentions of Trauma)
Memey decided he had to lie. He had to lie to save Tbh, to save the one person who'd cared for his well being. He rammed his body into the door until it broke through, equipping the superhuman strength that Kooki had given to him as a sorry. He picked up Tbh and ran to Medbay, slamming open the door and turning on the light, waking everyone up. "Urggh... who the- MEMEY??? How the- oh my god, TBH!!" Laff shrieked, getting out of the bed and picking up Tbh. "What happened???" Joocie asked, putting two fingers on Tbh's neck to search for a pulse. "I- I don't know, I woke up and Tbh was on the floor, and- and I think I broke through the door!" Memey sobbed, watching as Joocie nodded as Laff put Tbh on a bed. "He's still alive. Quickly, he's losing blood!" Dino and Blaza quickly went to help with the frantic group. Socks handed Memey a cookie to satisfy the monster for longer, offering a small and insincere grin.
Hours has passed and TBH is now conscious, he opened his eyes, only to be blinded by the lights so he quickly closed his eyes, not letting any of the blinding light surge his sight. He opened his eyes once again, this time with more caution, he looked around the bright area he was in, he's in Medbay, on a bed, resting and healing. Has it always been this bright in Medbay? He thought, he looked to his sides to see was beside him, it was the teen with the iconic double top hats. But he stopped looking at his sides as it brought pain into his head.
Why was he here? What happened? Why is he injured, nothing happened while he and Memey were exploring, right?
"Oh, thank god you're awake," Nadwe sat up taller, resting both of his hands on his sheets. Tbh looked up at the pearly ceiling. "W-what... happened...?" Tbh asked, his head pounding with a grinding headache. "Everything... hurts..." His body was on fire. Every muscle, every joint, every organ system in his body was aching to the core. "Memey broke out of security somehow. He said when he came to, he'd attacked you. We need to get stronger doors." Tbh nodded. Obviously it was a blatant lie, but he appreciated Memey covering for him. "Memey brought you in super late. Woke all of us up and absolutely terrified me when you were bleeding in his arms. Blunt force trauma to the head, bites on your limbs, a part missing from your torso..." Nadwe talked like a doctor. Usually Memey would be the one, but he wasn't in the room, having long been sent back to security to watch his friends have fun without him. "But you've gotta be more careful, each day we draw closer to Polus."
"Where are the others?" TB asked, "It's working hours right now, so everyone is doing and finishing their daily assigned tasks." The pink man replied. "Oh, so I should go and do my tasks too-" "No no no crab man, you are not going anywhere, that thing did a lot of damage on your body." The teen scolded. "Never knew I'll get scolded by a child." TB joked. "Well I wouldn't have scolded you if you didn't decide to rush out of bed." Nadwe replied.

Blaza wandered the halls of the Skeld. He'd just finished divert power in shields. He looped around to Reactor, slamming his head on the Start Reactor panel as the buttons began to flash red. He let out a groan and started over, watching the buttons flash on screen. Suddenly, he heard something banging against the wall in Sceurity that made him mistap and start over again. He sighed in frustration and knocked on Security doors. "Memey? Everything all right in there?" No response came. Blaza wore a worried expression as the silence somehow grew louder. He sighed and started back towards reactor. The doors behind him smashed open suddenly, causing the red lights of emergency to flash on and start blaring.
He whipped his head around seeing the blue creature with eyes sprouted around an open slit for a mouth. Uneven and sharp teeth jutted out of the mouth, black slimy tentacles reaching towards him somewhere in the back.
Adrenaline rushed the insides of Blaza, his first instinct was to jump and hide in the vents, 'no' he said to himself, it takes way too long to get inside, too risky. He just has to run. So he did.
He bolted out of the hallway running for his life, Cafeteria is right there, he can make, if he close the doors now, he could escape and live. Why doesn't he want to die? He'll just respawn like the rest. He shoved his thoughts away as he reached the hallways between the Engine and Cafeteria. He's there, he can be safe, he can get away. He just has to—-
His thoughts blacked out, silence filled the hallways, the doors around them closed shut, he let his guard down. Blaza looked down, he was held up in the air, blood dripping from his mouth and open wound- Open wound? Right...He was held up, one of the blue creature's tentacles impaled him, hanging him up in the air. He choked on his own blood. The corners of his sight started to blur and darken. Is this how it felt to die by the hands of your fellow Imposter?
Laff wasn't ready for what he'd seen. Laff wasn't ready at all. Not after experiencing it himself. Blaza came running in through the left door, reaching for the button in vain as a black spike stick through his body. Laff covered his mouth to hold in a scream, ducking under a Cafeteria table and watching as tears started to leave his eyes. His eyes widened in terror as the blue creatures stepped into view, tossing Blaza unceremoniously to the side like a rag doll. The body made a loud thump as it slid closer to Laff. The feet of the monster stood still, its tentacles forever moving as it looked around. Finally, when it determined that no one was in view, it turned around and left, leaving a line of blood smearing and scattering across the hallway. Laff waited another few seconds to make sure it was gone before opening his mouth and letting out a sob. The sob became multiple cries, until he was full on having a breakdown. He looked at Blaza, not wanting to see his expression.
Laff just sat there under the table, not wanting to move at all, this is too much, this is too much for him. He's seen his friends die and get revived before, but this was different. This wasn't child's play, they weren't just playfully pestering each other, no, it was serious this time. There's a monster inside one of his friends, and he felt all kinds of emotions just thinking about it. Anger, grief, pity, guilt, he felt it all. He couldn't handle the pain any longer, this creature wasn't killing for fun, this creature wasn't the friend they thought they knew. And that thought hurt him. He just stayed there, unable to look behind the lifeless corpse. He knows Blaza is okay, he's healing, he's fine. But he still worries, he worries it'll come back for him. He's scared and he can't help it. He let out another sob, this time more quiet.
He has decided. Unclasping his mask, he wiped the tears that flooded his face. He ran into Medbay where Nadwe, TBH were. No sign of Blaza still... he grabbed a medkit and made his way to where the creature was. He can't just hide and do nothing but cry, he needs to help his friend. He needs to help Memey. He needs to help stop their suffering, one way or another.
“Mind telling us what happened back there?” Blaza asked. “Haha..what do you mean Blaza?..” Memey awkwardly reply, trying to avoid eye contact. “Memey don’t act dumb, we saw what you did. You attacked us.” Socks said with a calm tone, trying not to be angry. “I-..” Memey stopped himself from explaining, trying to think of an excuse, a white lie that the others could fall for. No that’s wrong, he said to himself. There was a long pause before someone even tried to speak up and continue the conversation. “Memey, please tell us. We can’t afford even more people getting injured, and that includes you..” TBH asked, clearly trying to squeeze an answer from the blue man. “None of us wants anymore violence..” TBH cracked, “We could help you— if you just, explain to us the whole picture-“ silence filled the room again, Memey was in deep thought, is he thinking of a lie he could say, or is he planning to actually explain his whole situation?
“Sure.. I’ll explain it, after everyone is ready.”
—-
Instead of the cafeteria, everyone decided that just staying in Medbay would be best. “I- I don’t know what’s going on, but...” Laff said between coughs. “Memey...?” Blaza eyed the blue onesie, staring into the derpy eyes with a deep hatred. “I... well, so...” Memey looked up at the hood of the onesie that fell over his hair. “So... what I think is... there’s something in my onesie. Not physically? But...” he pulled at the fur nervously. “I’m not sure. It acts like the Cookie Monster. If I don’t give it cookies, I’m due time—“ Memey made a eating gesture. “Why can’t you just take it off then?” Laff asked. “I can’t. I try but it just feels like it’s my new skin, like it’s attached to me... sometimes I can talk to it, and it threatens to kill you too if I forcefully take it off.” “So... you kill us so that you don’t have to kill us,” Socks raised an eyebrow. “When you put it that way...” Memey started. He paused to think. “Well, i keep it pacified by eating cookies.” “But... I was in Medbay, finishing my last tasks and... I guess I blacked? And when I woke up, I was still in Medbay, but my suit was all bloody and Socks and Laff were also in the beds. I figured... something had happened. But from the way everyone looked at me...” Memey looked at his feet. “I knew something was up.” It was a huge relief to get it all off his chest. He waited for the room’s silence to break. “I don’t understand, why don’t I remember any of it?” Laff said, adjusting his mask on his face and fiddling with his fingers.
“You weren’t conscious when it happened?” Memey suggested of the possibility. “But I don’ remember passin’ out.” Laff replied, looking at Memey with eyes that writes worry and curiosity. “Well uh-“ Nadwe interrupted, “Socks, sorry to ask, but um, how did you remember if Laff can’t?” Socks opened his mouth, he was about to answer but he closed hus mouth, thinking on how did he remember, even tho Laff didn’t. “I saw it happen.” Socks’ eyes widened as he said his statement with a blank voice.
“Well I guess that explains why Laff can’t remember the whole picture. He was knocked out before he was...” Nadwe gestured his hands to a chopping movement, he didn’t want to say it out loud as he knew a lot of them had bad memories of it. Blaza shivered as the flashback replayed in his head. He wasn’t squeamish but the amount of gore and seeing two people he knew being tortured just left a burned imagine into his brain. He hoped no one noticed, but he knew they all did. “So... to keep this monster at bay, we have to feed you... cookies?” Tbh asked, re-wiring the attention away from Blaza. Memey nodded, giving one of the eyes a cruel whack before looking back at the group. “I haven’t given it anything all day. Lest we want that happening again-“ Memey started, but mid sentence the hoodie came to life. “So many... cookie?” It mumbled. The hoodie began to close. Memey quickly caught the hoodie with his hands, trying to crank it back upwards and away from his face. He fell to his knees as all of his strength was concentrated on keeping himself sober from the Cookie Drug.
“Get away—“ Memey screeched as he failed to resist it. It’s mouth sealed shut, hiding the face of their friend. They can’t get away, no, they just really can’t, there’s too many of them that’s still healing, they can’t leave them here, and they can’t get away and hide either, this ship isn’t as big as people thought.
The blue creature dislocated itself and started to walk to them, it seems faster, why was it faster than before? Was it because of the dislocated joints- “Cookie.” It said, voice much deeper and rougher than before.
The large figure loomed over the group, scanning each one of them for threats. “Pink... cookie... have...?” The gruff voice boomed as the derpy eyes snapped towards the pink astronaut. “I-I’m sorry, I don’t- GAH!!” Nadwe let out a scream as the thing suddenly lunged towards him. It quickly over took him like before, but easier this time as the fractured shoulder twisted the wrong way and spiked pain into his arm. With a loud and quick WHACK, Nadwe’s skull was cracked open, pooling blood done his head. The monster dropped Nadwe’s body and loomed over him, leaving the others to watch as Nadwe slowly bled out, his shocked and fearful expression painted on his face and frozen in time. “COOKIE,” the gruff creature said again, stepping towards the frightened group. “N-Nadwe...” Laff squeaked, eyes locked on the still, pink man. Suddenly, there was a jolt in his body as the pink man struggled to get up. He picked up his hats and threw them over the monster’s eyes before collapsing. The blue monster, ‘Cookie Monster’ struggled to remove the two hats that locked and latched onto its big sinister but derpy eyes. They need to find a way to calm him down, they need to find a way to get their friend back, they need to..
Blaza picked up the passed out teen, looking at the others for the to do, but none had the guts to knock out the monster again, none had the guts to do it, why? Memey is inside, they can’t have another injured friend, they can’t. This is all to much, too much gore, too much blood spill for any of them to handle. Then an idea snapped at TBH, “Hey guys- didn’t Memey said he keeps this thing pacified by giving cookies?-“ he asked as he got closer to the door to run for some cookies in the kitchen of cafeteria. “Yeah he did say that.” Joocie confirmed.
Without hesitation, Joocie made a beeline for the cafeteria. Tbh stayed behind with Blaza as the demon ripped off the black hats and whipped its head around to see the terrified Blaza and Nadwe. It was just about ready to bite off Blaza’s head when Tbh pulled out two rolls of bandages and ran around the monster, allowing them to tangle and wrap around the blue fur. Blaza let out a sigh of relief before picking up Nadwe and seeking him carefully onto the scanner. “Hurry g-“ Tbh yelled down the hall before being interrupted by a bite on his leg. The tangled monster had folks over but it quickly worked its way towards Tbh and sank its mouth over Tbh’s ankle. Tbh let out a whimper but kept shouting down the hall. Finally, after seemingly hours of sustaining the bite on his leg, Joocie came running back with the cookie jar, screwing open the lid while making his way back. Joocie quickly arrived and started to try and pry the monster off of Tbh, Laff arriving soon after and helping.
Joocie attempted to lure the blue creature out of Medbay. The creature smelled the scent of the cookie jar Joocie has opened and followed. He took slow steps out of Medbay and into Upper Engine, the creature was staring at him with derpy eyes, it reached out for the cookies but Joocie flinched as he thought it was gonna rip him too, and then he realized it was going for the cookies, so he carefully and fearfully gave the jar to the tall creature. Its height started to shrink as it ate the cookies, after seconds, was it THAT fast? it looked at Joocie and smiled, it’s mouth reopened again, this time it revealed Memey’s passed out state. He quickly caught the passed out man as the man’s grasp of the jar fell. He’s alright, they’re alright. They can’t let this happen again, they’ve seen too much they couldn’t handle it all.
Nadwe toppled off of the scanner, gasping for breath and looking around in surprise. Blaza helped him up, leading him over to one of the Medbay beds and starting to re bandage his wounds. Tbh sat on another, exhausted from both his yelling and the blood leaking from the torn shin. Oompa peeked in and nodded towards Socks, who entered and glanced away from the unconscious Memey. Joocie quickly darted towards Tbh, picking up one of the rolls on the floor and beginning to wrap it around his leg. Blaza sighed as he finished off the last bandage on Nadwe’s head. “So.. that was something,” Laff commented, worry still painted across his face. “We have to get more cookies on this ship.” “But how?” Socks asked, gesturing to the empty space outside the window. “We just left Mira HQ. It’ll be too long before we reach Polus. How are we meant to nurture this-“ Socks glanced at Memey. “This thing?” “Memey has been feeding it cookies, even tho we didn’t brought any cookies with us in this ship.” Blaza commented. “Yeah, we never brought any sort of cookies, but there was a jar of cookies just sitting on the counter in the kitchen.” Joocie added. “Did he make the cookies?” Laff questioned, “Laff, we’re in space, there’s no way someone could make cookies in zero gravity.” Socks stated, “Oh, you’re right, it aint possible.” “I guess the only way is...” Tbh sighed. “I didn’t want to suggest this, but... Memey is the huge threat here. I think the only way is to... lock him in a room for the rest of the trip. I-It sounds cruel, but...” Everyone didn’t want to say it, but it made sense. It was the only way they could keep him contained and hurting no one until they get to the planet base. “... I think it’s the only way. Obviously we’d feed him normal food, but there’s no cookies on ship. We save them everytime someone wants to see him, then we give him one cookie to pacify the monster.”
So I created an AU where Memey’s cookie monster suit/onesie is possessed by a demon.
My friend Carrot helped me with this fic, go give them a like and follow on IG

Blaza ruffles out of the crowd that gathered around Laff and Socks and noticed Memey panicking. He walked over to the blue man and grabbed a chair to sit on. “Memey, what happened?” Blaza said, his voice dead serious, it’s wasnt like Blaza to be dead serious about things, so his voice sent chills into Memey’s spine. “I don’t know..” He stiffened, “I actually don’t know- I was just here in Medbay, working..” he trailed off, voice shaking “I don’t remember eating them..” he choked a quiet sob. “How could you not remember such a... vital time stamp?” Blaza asked, still holding a dead serious tone. There was a slight quiver in it as Blaza started to lose his composure after glancing at the clueless Laff. “I-I’m not sure, one moment I’m in the Medbay and the next I’m-“ Memey cut off his sentence. He couldn’t finish it.
“Oh my god, oh my god-“ Socks held onto everything around him for dear life, like the world was about to tumble down around him. He whimpered at the digging pain in his stomach but still sat in the same position, his eyes wide and cautious. “Woah, woah, calm down S-“ Dino started, reaching their hand to Socks only to have it smacked away. “...no, no, I’m sorry, I just...” Socks’ chest rose and fell quickly like a guinea pig sitting still in fear. “What’s bothering you?” Dino asked quietly, not wanting to draw attention from the crowd. Socks did not respond in words, instead he let out sob, holding onto his arm as he remembered the pain that struck him when it got ripped off. “Im sorry.” He let out, hugging himself.
Nadwe burst into the room, holding onto the door frame for support as he caught his breath. Socks let out a loud yelp from the noise before calming down and hugging himself again. “Oh... my god...” Nadwe breathed out, letting out a final long breath before standing up straight. “I’m so sorry I’m late. The doors to electrical and storage shut.” He immediately read the room and looked towards Blaza for help. “...it’s not good. Me and Dino walked up on... Memey. Uhm...” Blaza stuttered, trying to keep it down. “Memey was... eating Laff and Socks... Laff doesn’t remember but...” Blaza glanced over at Socks. “Socks clearly does. Memey doesn’t remember either. Once their bodies have fully regenerated we have to discuss this.” Nadwe absorbed the words and quickly stiffened. Blaza swore you could hear the gears turning in his head. “...I’ll go talk to Laff. You guys sort things out.. yeah...” Nadwe trailed off before tipping both of his hats as a goodbye and walking towards Laff’s medbay bed.
Nadwe sat down beside Laff, “How are you holding up?” He asked. “I dunno mate, I was just walkin down to electric an then I woke up here.” Laff replied, looking around the room then at Nadwe then his hands. “Nadwe...” Laff started, “Hm?” “Is it normal, to feel agonizing pain like you’re bein’ eaten, even if you’re not?” He asked, looking at Nadwe with desperate eyes that wanted answers. His eyes widened at his question, holding his hand up his mouth, he knows what Laff meant, Blaza told him what has happened. But he felt guilt clawing at him for not telling the whole picture. He just sat there, lowering his hand, “I don’t know Laff...”
“Socks, calm down!” Dino said, almost a hint of begging in his tone. “Please, please! Socks...” Dino almost started to cry themselves. Seeing Socks in the shocked state hurt Dino’s heart on a level that couldn’t be described. Socks closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, trying to forget the gnawing sensation in his arm. “I-I’m sorry, Dino. It’s just.. a lot.” Dino nodded and quickly placed their hands on the sheets of the bed, eyeing the wound before opening their mouth to talk. “After you and Laff have recovered, i think we still have to... discuss it in the cafeteria. Are you going to be okay...?” Socks sat straighter, contemplating in his mind of the scenes that could play out. “I-I should be okay. It’s fine, I’ll be fine. I just...” Socks looked down on his bandages hands. “Can’t look at him right now.”
Days passed and the two were now physically healed, though that incident left them psychologically scarred, not just them, but also to Blaza and the others that saw the incident first hand. It terrified them, was that really Memey? What happened? These questions and many more invade their thoughts like wildfires. But those questions will now be answered, right? Memey will explain what that thing was, right?
They all gathered around the table in Cafeteria. Socks was with TBH who was supporting him, was his leg injured? surely not. Laff was already in Cafe before the others could arrive, how did he get there without supervision? Once a everyone was there, silence filled the room, it was deafening. Why did no one wanted to talk? Why were they so silent—
Blaza cleared his throat, breaking the silence. It wasnt like him to start the discussion, it wasnt like him to be serious and not even break a smile. He didnt. “So, I think we all know why we’re here.” He stated. Everyone turned their gaze to Memey except for Socks, who looked down at the cafeteria floor. “Memey...” Oompa asked, the eye on his head turned towards him in curiosity. Oompa had been in Navigation and hadn’t heard of the attack until much later. Memey sighed and looked across the table to Socks, who didn’t look up. “I-“ Memey started, feeling a lump in his throat. “I’m... not sure what happened...” he gulped as the pressure tensed. He took a moment to think. “You’re not sure what happened...” came a small voice. Socks looked up and slammed his fists on the table, shaking a few of the old drinks over. “YOU’RE NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED.” Socks let out a crazed laugh before standing up. “You almost KILLED ME. YOU almost ATE ME. SCRATCH THAT, YOU DID EAT ME. IF BLAZA AND DINO HADN’T COME, LAFF AND I WOULDN’T BE HERE RIGHT NOW. AND ALL YOI HAVE TO SAY IS YOU’RE NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED.”
Memey’s face paled at Socks’ statement, he’s right, he did eat them, he did. But why can’t he remember? Why can’t he remember meeting Socks in the hallway between Storage and Lower Engine? Why does his head hurt when he tries to remember? Why does everything hurt— Memey block his ears with his hands, pain clawing and screaming in his head, he shrank down from the meeting as he submerged himself into his thoughts. His eyes started watering as the pain get more and more out of hand. “Shut up...” He quietly said. Socks watched as Memey covered his ears, shaking and shrinking to the table. Memey muttered something. “What?” Laff asked, trying to pull Socks back into the seat. “SHUT UP!!” Memey screamed, still covering his ears. He looked desperately at the people around him, pressing his hands tighter as the voices screamed louder with each look of dismay. He let go of one hand and wiped the tears pouring from his eyes, hearing a tight, high pitched note as the voices screamed into the ear. He quickly escaped the cafeteria, making his way to the left side of the ship and hiding in the corner of reactor.
“The hell of a discussion that was,” Oompa said, getting up and slightly looking at the red button in the middle of the table. “I’ll go find Memey. You guys...” he looked at Socks, who started taking in more shaky breaths. “You guys calm down Socks.” Memey crouched down behind the engine on the top part of the ship, he’s tired, he’s drained from the joyful tone he always had. “What wrong?” It asked, “Oh so now you’re here?!...” Memey hissed at it, it stayed quiet for a bit, “Was not cookie?..” he snapped. “OH SO THAT WAS YOUR DOING?!” Memey said, totally enraged by the thing, “I TOLD YOU I WAS GONNA GET YOUR COOKIES AFTER I REST- BUT YOU DIDNT LITSEN- YOU STILL WENT OUT TO LOOK FOR ONE, AND NOW LOOK AT MY SITUATION!!!” He vented out, calling the demon hurtful things, it felt guilty for not waiting, it dragged it’s host into a situation that could have been avoided.
“Memey? Was that you?..” Oompa called from the hallway. Peeking from the front of the engine, his eyes widened as he backed away, “You’re not MemeGod...” he quietly said as slowly went to grab his gun. “Cookie?...”
——
Socks huffed as he felt his confidence dwindle and his strength deplete. He dropped down into his seat and wiped his eyes, anger pushing more tears down his face. “Socks...” Laff started, placing a comforting hand on his arm. “It’s so stupid. It’s all so stupid,” Socks whimpered. “God, It’s all so DUMB. It’s just so...” Socks let out another sob, covering his face with both hands. “After all the pain of being ripped apart, eaten alive, all Memey has to say is... I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?” Laff looked towards Blaza for words. “Socks, you know that wasn’t him. He couldn’t have done it purposefully. He wouldn’t. You and I both know that.” Blaza finally gave a small grin. “You and I both know the stupid FatMemeGod. He wouldn’t do that.” Socks listened and didn’t respond. He knew this was one of the rare times that Blaza was right. Memey would never do that.
“But...” Socks started. “If that wasn’t Memey...”
“Then who was it...?”
“NO STOP-“ a scream was heard from upper engine, they all looked at eachother, worry plastered all over their faces, they got up from theirs and bolted towards the origin of the noise.
They weren’t prepared, they weren’t prepared to see this. Oompa was knocked out, head bleeding. And beside him was Memey, or was it actually Memey?...
He was screaming, he was rejecting and refusing, he was jerking and kicking himself, pulling the hood of his onesie away from his face. Why is he pulling it away? “LET GO!-“ Memey painfully screamed as the demon took over its host, the hood closing shut. It stood up from the cold ground he was sitting on and shook off the blood on its hands. Memey? seemed taller, this isnt him. Who is it? Why was Memey refusing? Why was he screaming.
The tall figure spoke, “Memey friend?...” (help me). The two voices overlapped, but it was clear the two said different things.
“Oompa!!” Blaza yelled, running over to the bleeding figure on the floor. “BLAZA!!” Nadwe yelled as the creature took a step towards the two. Nadwe rammed himself into the creature and watched as the originally derpy eyes turned sinister and creeper. However, this creature had double— no, triple— the strength of Memey. It quickly overtook Nadwe and slammed him onto the ground, leaving him pushing the wrists upwards and the creature snapping its jaws at his head. Socks quickly pulled Memey off of Nadwe, helping him up. The creature roared in frustration. The space that held Oompa and Blaza was empty. They’d escaped, but the ship was only so big. It all happened in slow motion. Nadwe swung Socks around and switched positions with him, tanking a large crunch down on his right shoulder blade. “AHH!!” Nadwe yelled as a loud crack was heard from the bone splitting under the pressure. His hats dropped to the floor as he tried to escape the monster’s grasp. "You hurt Memey..." It said, it's voice rough from underuse. "Why did you hurt Memey?!" it grip tightens on Nadwe as it screeched multiple questions at the two. Socks ran into Medbay and grabbed a fire extinguisher, he rushed back into the area, screaming his anger as he slammed the extinguisher into the tall figure's head. Knocking it unconscious. Nadwe let out a weak noise on the floor choking for air as the blood form his shoulder began to pool. The mouth of the monster cranked open, exposing an unconscious Memey inside with a bleeding head. Socks huffed a bit to catch his breath, setting down the fire extinguisher. Tbh didn’t hesitate and picked up Nadwe, setting him on his back. He lifted Memey up as well and quickly darted towards medbay. To his surprise, Blaza and Oompa were nowhere in sight. “Socks,” Tbh called, quickly looking back into the room. “Go look for Blaza and Oompa. Where’s Laff, that kid??” Socks darted down the halls as Tbh set down Nadwe and Memey. He quickly pulled out a roll of bandages and tried his best to wrap the bandage around Memey’s head, moving aside the hood with surprising ease. Seems like the onesie also wants Memey healed as well. Tbh turned his attention to Nadwe’s shattered shoulder.
Socks eventually found Blaza and Oompa in Admin. Socks peeked from the door, “There you guys are..” Socks huffed, relieved they weren’t that injured. “How’s Oompa?..” “Not good..” he replied, putting his hand onto Oompa’s neck to find a pulse. “Is he still breathing?...” Socks worriedly asked, “...” “What?..” “I can’t feel any pulse..” “oh god...”
Socks rushed towards the two, he’s desperate, he’s not used to experiencing any violence first hand, he’s scared, he doesn’t want to experience a death of friend first hand. But he did. Oompa laid limp on the floor where Blaza placed him, there was no sign of life, he died..
——
The two went back to Medbay, when the scanner started beeping, creating high pitched sounds that hurt TBH’s and Nadwe’s hearing. Nadwe leaned up from the bed, moving carefully trying not to disturb TBH who was patching his wounds. “What-“ he was cut off as a loud choked scream was heard as the scanner stopped screeching.
Oompa dropped to the ground, coughing up air as he suddenly regains his life. “A-alive... holy crap... I’m alive...” Oompa gasped, clutching his heart as a fin reminder that his life lives on. Socks tackled Oompa in a hug, slurring words together as worry and relief washed over the two of them. “Im so surprised!! I thought you’d died!!” Socks yelled, hugging Oompa tightly. “You and me both...” Oompa hugged back and looked up at Blaza, who let out a sigh of relief. Oompa patted his heart twice and a thumbs up, reassuring Blaza from afar that he was okay. Oompa coughed and spat more blood. “Shoot... the medbay scan doesn’t quite heal large wounds...” Oompa said, his grip getting loose as blood continued to pour down his head. Socks quickly helped Oompa to a bed and took another roll of bandages, beginning to wrap it slowly around the wound. Nadwe sighed in relief as Tbh finally finished putting his shoulder blade back in place. “Nadwe, you’re so stupid,” Socks said, sitting down and pouting.
“What...happened?..” Memey said as he sat up from the bed, he flinched at the burning pain that scattered around his body. Looks like him kicking and banging himself into the ground and walls did a toll on him. “Glad your awake MemeGod.” “That is so unlike you to be nice Oompa- ow-“ his head still hurts.
“Mind telling us what happened back there?” Blaza asked.
It’s been a week since the incident, everything was explained calmly, even tho most of it was forced out of Memey, again. They apologized later on about the pressure they gave him. Things were a lot more peaceful, but some are still healing, Blaza was scarred the most, experiencing a death of a friend first hand, watching your friend almost kill your other friends twice. It did a number on him, he would flinch and easily get frustrated when someone brings up a topic related to the incident. And the injured weren’t doing any better, Socks was still scared and wary of MemeGod, he avoided him a lot and always leaves the conversation when a topic about Memey is brought up, he’s trying, but the scar that demon gave him was psychologically and emotionally damaging. Laff was still in shock when the others explained his situation, sometimes he is seen gripping dearly on left hand, a sign that he still felt the pain surging within him. Oompa felt a lot better, everyone was horrified when they saw two Oompas, one alive and healing, while the other one was just a dead corpse. They all agreed to just eject the corpse and never speak of it again. Nadwe’s arm was still healing, it’ll take months for his shattered arm to heal, even if he was revived, so they put a cast on his arm to help with the healing.
Memey was locked up in security, the vent locked and screwed shut. Sometimes, when someone passed by, they could hear roaring and banging from the other side. For this reason, Socks, Blaza, Dino, and Laff avoid the left side. “Memey...?” Tbh knocked on Security doors. “*hic* h-hello... Tbh....” Memey whimpered on the other side. It broke Tbh’s heart hearing Memey so upset. Tbh sighed and slid a cookie through the slot they made. Memey picked it up and ate it, pacifying the monster that’s only blocked from the world with a nimble teen. The doors slid open, revealing a sobbing and exhausted Memey. “I’m sorry, Memey. But this had to happen.” Tbh limped into the room and closed the door behind him, examining the dents and securing the walls. He slid a bowl of food to Memey, who set it next to him without taking a bite. “I know. It just gets... lonely in here just talking to myself.” Tbh felt a pang of pity and sorrow in his heart. “Well...” Tbh contemplated his thoughts. “Be quiet. I’ll let you out.”
“Wait what-“ a glimmer of hope could be heard from Memey’s voice, but it soon died out as he dropped himself into his ocean of thoughts, “No..we can’t do that- Kooki will hurt you- it will hurt them- I don’t want that..” Memey said, despair in his eyes as he thought of the ways the monster could hurt his friends. “I don’t want it...” “But think of it Memey, being isolated all the time isn’t healthy, and you know that very well with your totally legit Medical Degree and all.” TBH joked, he wanted to cheer up his friend. “You need to breathe too, y’know. Plus everyone’s asleep so we won’t encounter anyone.”
Memey gave in, nodding grimly and allowing Tbh to help him up. “Okay, we have to be quiet. I’ll take you to the cafeteria, that way if anyone wakes up they won’t be able to see you from the other side of the room. Let’s go have some fun while you can, I just don’t want you to hurt anyone.” Tbh quickly pulled Memey towards the cafeteria, the slight limp still present. “They’re all sleeping in medbay. If we go down to lower engine and go left, we can reach storage and go up. Cmon, I wanna let you have some air.” The duo made their way to the cafeteria, using a flashlight as their source of light. This became a routine, where Tbh would bring Memey food and then bring him to various rooms. Memey started to appreciate it, but one fateful day, it all changed.
Kooki was extra grumpy and hungry that day.
They were just having fun, they didn’t notice the derpy eyes going red, they didn’t notice when the hood of Memey’s onesie started to latch and wrap his face, they didn’t notice, it was unfair to them. It was unfair, he gave him a cookie, why was it still mad, why did it suddenly take control. Why?
Memey resisted, shoving another cookie into himself to calm the monster down, it was too late. TBH was out on the floor of the hallway between Storage and Lower Engine, it’s just like before, but it’s different this time, he stopped it, he can still save him, right? He won’t die, he can’t, or else the duo will get in trouble. No one wants more conflict, he picked up the red man and rushed to security, he noticed that there was an extra medkit on the table, he quickly but carefully wrapped TBH’s injuries, ‘he can’t die’ ‘im sorry’ ‘why did this has to happen’ these questions surge his mind like a plague, he tried his best not cry as he tried to heal the unconscious man.
