Thanks guys! I did spend like half an hour on the exercise bike after work, and I’m gonna take my makeup off and shower next. I think even if it doesn’t have a significant effect on my sleep im gonna try and use the gym a couple times a week after work, because gods know I should be more active. We’ll see how I sleep tonight!

Thank you both! I’ve tried manic panic before but never heard of Arctic Fox. The fact that it smells like bubblegum is intriguing as is the info that they’re donating to Color of Change. I think I’ll try them out!

honestly the experiments characters were who i was thinking of when i wrote this, particularly eva and pine (i really hope im not confusing them with other ocs omg)

eva is the girl who regenerates too well, pine is the short lady grump whose hair becomes quills (tho i’m thinking of reworking that aspect), those ones?

eva’s snarky but also morally grey. more survivalist i guess? i wanted to have her be a good foil to phagus w their more monstrous experiment result but super sweet and calm nature. she couldn’t care less about people who haven’t endeared themselves to her, so while she wouldn’t go on massive rampages she definitely doesn’t feel bad about hurting/killing someone who’s in her way or is hurting someone she does happen to care about. meanwhile phagus is in the background like “eva?? uh??? can we leave???”

pine’s 100000lbs of rage packed into a 100lbs bag who has a massive soft spot for her very tall, very shy girlfriend. if she’s not antagonizing some of the maaany people she hates she’s typically seen making something either to piss someone off or (more frequently) to give to rep

i’m thinking about changing the origin of the experiments, i’m thinking that the characters all had some kind of issue that needed some kind of massive undertaking for treatment (eva maybe was in an accident and got hurt too bad for traditional methods to stitch up, phagus had some kind of serious digestion track failure, not sure about pine or rep tho)

i’m gonna keep the labeling system, because the idea would be that the experiments are supposed to be for the good of the individuals and for advancing medicine but certain very rich people are putting certain large amounts of money towards getting certain not-completely-altruistic experiments pushed thru over more necessary ones

i miss them too ;n; i just never know what/who to talk about? i rarely see character prompts

plus i wanna rework the experiments characters, i’m planning on rewriting the two books into one and changing a few things, updating characters and worldbuilding etc
