Valentine looks so cute wearing glasses! Drawing glasses is difficult, but when I saw Qifrey's glasses in Witch Hat Atelier, I thought, "Why not give him those kinds of glasses?" And yes, it's easier that way hahaha The last drawing is a "what if" scenario: what if Spelldon made better decisions and thus avoided a lot of trouble?

This is Disability Pride Month

Here's my Valentine headcanon. He has visual problems, including both advanced blurred vision and light sensitivity One thing I forgot to mention about the glasses is that they also help protect him from the light, so he sometimes uses them for that purpose. The Monster High world isn't exactly bright, so he doesn't always have to wear them... unless he's at Cleo's house, in which case his eyes suffer without them
