My dog loves alien shows when she wants to rest. I grew to enjoy it too haha Lately we have been watching the incredibly random show "Aliens in Alaska". Apparently, some people believe that aliens have hidden a giant black pyramid in Alaska. ha After hearing that I could not get the image out of my head and had to draw it. Let me know guys what random shows do you chill out with?
I decided to go further in the past than Sleepy Hollow for today's "Headless Horseman". I instead drew the terrifying inspiration and origin from ancient Irish fae mythology. The Dullahan and the headless horseman are very similar but the Dullahan does not kill you itself. It instead whips your eyes out with a human spine. It does serve. as an omen of death for you or a loved one though. They also usually have their head with them and extra weird is the horse is sometimes headless too! I have seriously gotten obsessed with Irish folklore and I completely blame the PBS show Monstrum for starting it ha
Tim Burton-style art of a wholesome coven of witches making a brew.
Kaiju- I decided to make my Kaijus be a Japanese spider crab and Coconut crab. They are already pretty big but if they were as big as buildings God help us ha Who is your favorite Kaiju? I think mine is Mothra. What animal would you hate to be a giant?
Kracken for #monstermashmonth Around the beginning of Covid, I discovered bardcore. I absolutely love it and had to make a Medieval-style piece. When I looked up references for the style, I realized how beautiful the art was then. However, they could not seem to draw cats or babies. lol You can swipe to see a close-up of my Medieval cat :)
Also if you are not familiar with Bardcore check out this song that I was listening to while working on this.
My anniversary is this month. Still can’t believe we have known each other for 8 years already. ❤️ I decided to make “Till death do us part” a fun little doodle of me and my husband. Except not even death could do that :) 💀 ha
Hi! I will be posting yesterday's post today too but first I wanted to show today's prompt "Hell Cat". I love imagining the devil having a fluffy fiery Persian cat that hisses at everything. This was one of my favorites to draw. If you are wanting a spooky pet portrait made feel free to message me for a commission.
