I was recently asked by @indymonthly to create a piece with Ransom inspired by the Monster Project. It’s where a kiddo draws a monster and then an artist makes a monster inspired by the child’s drawing! When I sat down with Ransom I explained the project and he went and got his markers immediately. He started drawing and I asked "what kind of monster are you making?" he said "It's a Seven Monster. It has 7 eyes, 7 mouths, 7 legs, and 7 hairs. It's not mean though, it's nice." I asked "Why is it a Seven?" and he replied "I don't know...all my monsters are numbers.". 😂7️⃣💕 I created "The Sevenophore" combining Ransom's monster design with my love of Science (and, of course siphonophores.). It's a colonial organism that lives in the Seven Seas and is closely related to a jellyfish. #monsterproject #indianapolismonthly #artwithkids #mabsdrawlloweenclub #specialedition
