Greater Dog’s Origin

I was thinking about a story for that fluffy and cute dog.

Like, Was he really an experiment? I have a headcanon in mind:

Greater Dog was not an experiment, he was actually found by Mettaton in a more ... tiny version, the reasons for his current size is due to a mixture of experiments that Dr. Alphys did with him.

Also, Undyne decided to keep Greater Dog just for that, weird experiments.

It could be said that Greater Dog was a failed experiment, therefore the hatred that Undyne has to him (Which is only provoked when Greater Dog shows affection, can be confused with that Undyne only wants to disturb).

wait so monsters!au, hear me out: tae and kook are best friends, just in different kindergarten classes. they start talking about their monster friends and it basically becomes a competition to see who has the cooler monster "mine has horns!" "so does mine, they're PURPLE" "well mr. monster has a tail! and he's BLUE!" "well my monster has polka dots!!!" jungkook insists that mr. monster is the coolest and invites tae to sleep over to meet him. that night, jimin visits because kookie asked (1)

(2) for bedtime stories, and jimin flips out at the sight of tae bc THERE ARE TWO NOW??? HUMAN CHILD CAN MULTIPLY, what the FUCK???? but tae just smiles his box smile and tries to touch jimin's markings.

and jungkook being sad that jimin never came back until one night he does and jungkook grabs him and squeals and tugs him into his bed jimin’s like ???? and jimin just kinda lays there while jungkook snuffles into his chest like “mr. monster you came back!’ and jimin stays until jungkook falls asleep bc just. ugh. really cute.

i have no idea where this came from but imagine a vhope Monsters Inc. au with hobi as a monster and tae as the human kid. hobi is literally terrified of humans and v (who's more curious/amused than scared) is his first job after graduating. their first scare is literally just hobi screaming while v keeps trying to touch his face (on anon cause wtf did i just write)
