A gray-shelled Sky Troopa approached the Bros with two red-shells in formation behind him, their wings flapping so fast that they made a sound akin to that of an old biplane. On one of their backs was a Koopa whose face greeted the four with a warm albeit mildly smug grin, even though it sported a new scar on the right cheek. Despite the battle damage, it was clear who it was: an old friend of the Koopa Bros.. An old friend more than a little excited to see them again.
"Troops! Flight time!" the one in front demanded as they all came in for a landing. "0:30:13, Sergeant!" the duo answered back simultaneously, their tones, just as professional as their leader's, though not as demanding. "Jagger! Sir! I hearby take full responsibility for the thirteen-second delay!" the rigid troopa yelled back to his passenger.
"It's alright, Flutter." Jagger casually replied as he dismounted and hit the ground with a grunt. "I'm just glad we got here as quick as we did. Thanks for doing us this favor, by the way. I owe you one." "Nonsense, sir! Anything to assist a civilian!" Flutter turned to face his passenger and saluted, his two troops relocating themselves behind him while maintaining formation. The koopa couldn't help but let out a chuckle. Even after all the time they spent together, Sergeant Flutter was still as uptight as ever, and his soldiers weren't much better.
"If you say so." he shrugged. "Jinx and I'll be ready for pickup tomorrow at 1600. That sound okay to you?"
"Okay, I guess I'll see you then. Dismissed."
"Troops! Move out!" "Sir yes sir!" The militant trio's wings went back into overdrive as they turned to face the way they came from, their formation never faltering as they did so. They then took off for Land's End once more, with Jagger waving goodbye behind them.
Once they were out of view, the koopa turned to the Bros and rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling sheepishly. "...Quite the charmer, isn't he?"
