There it is, the process of a madman. For scale each sheet is 1 x 1 foot. The upper left corner is empty because that contains the book title. At this point I had no idea what the cover logo would look like. Also lots of little notes of things to add or fix.
Sometimes it's just about drawing the details. Pots and pans, moulding and trim, window cracks and metal shine. I had originally considered a wall paper pattern but that may have driven me insane.
I mean really, a house isn't complete without its own sea monster in the water tank. Pick up your own personal Kraken at any pet distribution center and drop it in your water tank. Ahhh tentacles.

Ettin is a kind of giant from Old Norse Jötunn, from Northumbrian folklore referring to a colossal malevolent mythical creature. Ettin (Dungeons & Dragons), a two-headed giant. Cuz 2 heads is more scary.
