I dug up a really early sketch of the Yeti. Kind of funny to see it stripped down to a sketch now.

The test copy of the Misunderstood Monstrous Alphabet book is on it's way. If all looks good, hopefully it will be out next week. Fingers crossed!

There it is, the process of a madman. For scale each sheet is 1 x 1 foot. The upper left corner is empty because that contains the book title. At this point I had no idea what the cover logo would look like. Also lots of little notes of things to add or fix.

Literally nearing the end of the road here. I am jumping through a couple of the final hoops. Requested my LCCN#? That came out of left field. A release date to be set soon.

Originally I was going to use Ouroboros for the letter O. But fitting a gigantic snake into a scene eating its own tail proved to be a difficult task. Instead, hello Ork.

Sometimes it's just about drawing the details. Pots and pans, moulding and trim, window cracks and metal shine. I had originally considered a wall paper pattern but that may have driven me insane.

I mean really, a house isn't complete without its own sea monster in the water tank. Pick up your own personal Kraken at any pet distribution center and drop it in your water tank. Ahhh tentacles.

Xing Tian symbolizes the indomitable spirit, the will to keep going despite having no head. This guy just didn't want to give up sweets

The thing about zombies is, they just have bad memories. They just want more brains to help them remember what it is they forgot. Also not the best at asking for help, and a little pushy.

This one is the invisible beast. If you look hard you can see it. Just messing with you, no monster in this one.

Ettin is a kind of giant from Old Norse Jötunn, from Northumbrian folklore referring to a colossal malevolent mythical creature. Ettin (Dungeons & Dragons), a two-headed giant. Cuz 2 heads is more scary.

This may look like a battle between the Nimerigar and a shrub, but it's not. Don't let this gardening stand-off fool you. There is more going on here.

In some ways making the Hidebehind all dark like this is cheating. In other ways it's even creepier as you imagine the rest of it.

Doppleganger. Who knows what they are supposed to look like before they impersonate someone? I just went for something alien.
