        The edges of scarlet lips downcurled in distaste. Yes, she’d had such parties before. Bedecked in jewels, silks, and velvet, she roamed hallowed castle halls at her husband’s side. Although idle chatter was kept pleasant, she could read in between every word. Look at my wife. Look at what I have tamed and claimed for my own. Envious, aren’t you? 

“I’ve never liked parties,” she confided. “At least, not ones like this. I’d rather be barefoot in a deserted wood than trapped in a room full of mortals. No, something inhuman drew me here.” 

Snow glanced pointedly at Aellyon out of the corner of her eye. “I am always willing to risk temporary discomfort in search for permanent allies and friends.”

          probably a little on the nose for most people out there, but my four main ocs (only three of which currently have a presence here, sadly) are meant to represent one of the four main elements based on personality traits/magical abilities, etc…

          Luna is earth.

                   Steadfast. Diligent. Unwavering.

          Lucca is fire.

                   Powerful. Aggressive. Passionate.

          Anton is air.

                   Brave. Hopeful. Inspired.

          And Elliott (who cannot be pictured here bc i still can’t decide on a decent fc for the poor guy!!) is water.
