Big Drama (Montbrook - Riveting Drama)
Eclipse Award-winning sprinter of 2010, Big Drama posted the highest Beyer Speed Figure (120) of 2011, winning the Mr. Prospector Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park in a scorching 1:08.12 and setting a new track record. An earner of more than $2.7 million during a stellar racing career, Big Drama captured the 2010 Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) at Churchill Downs, defeating the likes of Wise Dan, Smiling Tiger and Warrior’s Reward. Big Drama also was a spectacular 2-year-old, sweeping the Florida Stallion Stakes Series at Calder by a combined 11 ½ lengths and winning the $750,000 Delta Jackpot (G3) at Delta Downs.
Following his successful juvenile campaign, Big Drama emerged as the best sprinter of his generation, winning 10 stakes races, four of them graded.
