❄️On 22 November 2025, the municipality of Montecopiolo, located in the Apennine Mountains of Emilia-Romagna, received more than 50 centimeters of snow. The heavy snowfall quickly covered roads, mountain routes, and residential areas with a thick snow layer, causing significant travel disruptions.
Local services are working to clear the roads and warn residents about icy conditions, snowdrifts, and reduced visibility. Some high-altitude routes have been temporarily closed.
