⁣ Canon EOS 250D | 104mm | 1/1000s | f/5.6 | ISO 200⁣ Taken on 27/06/2020.⁣ ⁣ The mountain is seemingly looming over Claviere in this photo. I say "seemingly" because it actually stands on the other side of the border in Montgenèvre, France. Looks can be deceiving in photography at times!⁣ ⁣ To achieve this nifty, deceptive look, I zoomed in at 104mm — that's close to the maximum zoom capacity of my lens, which is 135mm. I used a large aperture – i.e. a low f-stop number – and focused on the mountain in order for the unimportant objects (in this case the cars) to be blurred out so as not to distract us from the mighty mountain.⁣ ⁣ What made this photo great as well was that it was raining cats and dogs shortly after I'd taken it.
