What exactly are the Months you might ask?
There’s January with it’s cold and non-alcoholic days. It’s still dark but it always brings a new start with itself.
February is the time that warmth begins to grow in our hearts with the coming celebration of Valentines day but it also brings broken memories and broken hearts.
March is when everything starts to slowly get warmer and you get to see the start of Spring. The sun lures you out to adventure and try your limits with the knowledge of the growing season.
April starts with jokes and pranks but as you go further into it you realize that all days are not as fun as the first one. You see that when others have fun others get shattered.
May is when you can’t deny the warmth anymore and welcome it even though you know it will bring storms later on the year. You try new things and let yourself free.
June brings even more freedom and warmth. The summer nights lull you into a feeling of freedom and make you braver than before. You laugh and cry but keep going.
July is when you’re the most active. Nothing is holding you back so you just let go. You make mistakes and try fixing them, you fall and get back up. This is the time of the sun and flowers so you won’t stop.
August slowly lulls you back to the norms but is still warm. It calms you down and keeps you safe. The summer is still there but you know that freedom comes with responsibilities.
September comes with colour. The warmth is still there but it’s already fading away. The colourful leaves all around get your imagination to run wild and you let it.
October comes with the knowledge of darkness but still it’s a time to let yourself think and get ready for the end of the month when you get to express your imagination in a new way
November takes a quick hold of you and wraps you into darkness. Things might seem dead now but if you look up you might find the night skies to be surprisingly satisfying.
December brings joy again. You know it’s not long anymore until you get to greet January and the New Year but first you push yourself to the end of the month. The hot chocolates, friends and celebrations take away the feeling of cold. The year ends with a bang only to start over again.
The months form the year but not like you think they do. They have names and personalities just like anyone else. They have stories of their own, families and homes. Some are broken some are not.
