Why do you have these saved
A smile everyone knows
It hadnât been a good week or even a month. For some time now nightmares had gripped on her mind, filling her head the moment she thought to relax and pushing away even the nicests of thoughts. She kept smiling and acting as if everything was normal, seeing no need to talk to anyone about the voices inside her head that were becoming louder with each day that passed and honestly speaking there wasnât anyone she could talk to. Not when the voices repeated her sins, fears, past. Not when they twisted her dreams and hopes for the future so much that in the end they were so distorted that even she couldnât tell what they used to be. She avoided sleeping, staying up as late as she could with someone else or alone in her room.
When she felt like ripping her head open to just make the voices stop, she smiled wider and focused on making others laugh. If she woke up with tears streaming down her face, she took a shower or headed into the woods to a small pond in the early hours of the morning when nearly everyone else was awake. Whenever the voices focused more on her current self and her negatives, she would put music on and pull her friends to dance with her like only a teenager would with light laughs on the tip of her tongue. Each time days had passed without her knowing what had happened, she did her best to make good food for everyone only to slip away when no one would notice to go on a run in the woods to make sure she was still herself in her own body. The times the voices painted demons over her friends, her first real family, she would make sure to compliment them and spend one-on-one time with those she hadnât been with in a while.
All of this was tiring but she wouldnât show it. If someone suspected something, they didnât say anything. Sometimes the voices got so loud she couldnât hear anything else so she would light some candles and put her effort into trying new spells, potions or salves.
Bright green eyes that held a thousand smiles in them just to hide the tears that threatened to fall any moment, a smiling mouth that only spoke warm and kind words just to keep itself from letting out screams that would break her voice, flecks of freckles adorning her face that would make others find her appealing though would always remind her of the scars she hid from the world, gentle hands that liked to be held or doing something to distract them from wanting to rip off her hair, flowing dresses that made her seem cute just to keep her from thinking what she really was and long brown hair that stayed open to give a distraction as a line in her field of vision or as a feeling pressing against her neck to remind her of the better days she could barely remember. All of this was what made her her, though she was adamant on keeping the real meanings hidden from others.
Days kept on passing yet she stayed the same, not daring to give a try at what others called true happiness even though her broken heart desired nothing more. There was no way she could let someone really close enough to see through her facade. It would be okay. She was okay. She had to be.

Just a lil peek to how Natsuki feels at times. Things really havenât been easy on her and I doubt they will be until she really lets herself open up, which will come eventually.
And I know this is kinda a cliche type of a writing thingy but itâs just something I had wanted to write for some time now so I did!!

Leaving the shadow
Warm morning light filled the room and woke up the woman sleeping in her bed. Unintelligent mumbling could be heard when she tried to tug the sheets over herself to hide from the bright morning just a bit longer. The sheets stayed there even when hurried steps could be heard approaching the room. âĂiti!! Get up get up get up!â A giggling ball of hair and smiles jumped onto the bed to shake at the sleeping woman who was quickly buried out from her cocoon of covers only smile sleepily at her daughter.
âNanami, let your mother sleep.â a warm voice called from the door where a blond person was leaning against the doorway. âOh let her be, Iâm already awake.â Natsuki hummed and caressed the cheek of her child gently. âSomeone must be excited to head to the Zoo today, right?â Nanami gave her an enthusiastic nod. âI wanna see the lions!â Luca walked further into the room and picked up the little girl. âYou have you have to let your mother dress up and eat before we can go. Letâs go watch some cartoons while she gets ready, okay?â The idea got an okay from the child so the two left Natsuki alone with a reminder to be fast from Nanami.
The day was sure to be filled with activities so Natsuki got up, not wanting to make her impatient little sunshine wait too long. Her dreams hadnât had the best content, memories of lonely nights in the dark coming back to her. Pain and fear used to be constant in her life but if she could see her younger self now, she would be able to show her that even she would have her time in the warm light. The shadow that once was all she knew, was being left behind as she kept walking the path filled with friends and love towards the light.
________
A small peek to the future of these lovelies. It will take more than just a few years for them to get here but they will, eventually.
Luca is the personification of October and someone Natsuki just falls for, head over heels. He is Finnish so thatâs why Nanami calls Natsuki âĂitiâ, as it means mother in Finnish!

Allright time to actually add some content here!! For the month of June, we have Natsuki Llwellyn. She is half Welsh/half Japanese! Natsuki is a very kind and warm 15 year-old despite her past being a bit on the rough side. Even though she is 15, she works at a cafe in the town near the mansion all of the months live in. She only really works during winter since she still goes to school and the warmer time of the year is important to her to get to spend in the forest and nature itself rather than being inside working. Her family consisted of her Welsh father Aled, Japanese mother Kimiko and two older brothers named Isao and Barri. They all lived in Wales at first but moved to Canada when Natsuki was younger but didn't really get to live there that long. Natsuki's family died in a fire when she was nine so she ended up on the streets after getting herself kicked out out of the orphanage. I'm not going to reveal her whole past staright away so look forward to hearing more! ----- Hiya here! I'm mod Ani, mother of our June and November children. I decided to start with Natsuki since she has been excisting longer so I have more drawings of her that I can easily find. I'll introduce my November child later on. â Mod Ani
Bees and screams
It was a nice, warm day so everyone had got some food and snacks into the garden. The flowers bloomed beautifully and had more than one of the residents of the mansion looking at their beauty. The big garden had enough space for everyone to relax and be at ease, as far from or close to others as they liked. Calm chatter and joyful laughs filled the air as the twelve enjoyed themselves.           The chatter stopped when a high pitched scream cut through the air and all eyes turned to look at the usually calm and quiet man of the mansion. Donovan was sticking his arm as far from himself as he could, otherwise frozen still. âTake it away, take it away, take it awayyyâŚâ he kept chanting over and over with eyes staring at the bee on his forearm.           The small man he had been conversing with took a step closer but was beat to the punch by May who easily took the bee away, the bug flying away soon enough without even stinging the girl. Someone could be heard laughing since of course it was odd to see the tall and dark Donovan screaming like a little girl. Donovan himself relaxed seemingly once the bee was gone, flushing some from embarrassment but even then he remembered to thank May. He excused himself after that to get a glass of water from inside and everyone went back to their conversations.
âââââ
So yeah my dear Donovan is scared of bees so summer isnât his favourite time to be outside and around flowers. November isnât really known as the month with bees so itâs not surprising that he doesnât get along with them.

What exactly are the Months you might ask?
Thereâs January with itâs cold and non-alcoholic days. Itâs still dark but it always brings a new start with itself.
February is the time that warmth begins to grow in our hearts with the coming celebration of Valentines day but it also brings broken memories and broken hearts.
March is when everything starts to slowly get warmer and you get to see the start of Spring. The sun lures you out to adventure and try your limits with the knowledge of the growing season.
April starts with jokes and pranks but as you go further into it you realize that all days are not as fun as the first one. You see that when others have fun others get shattered.
May is when you canât deny the warmth anymore and welcome it even though you know it will bring storms later on the year. You try new things and let yourself free.
June brings even more freedom and warmth. The summer nights lull you into a feeling of freedom and make you braver than before. You laugh and cry but keep going.
July is when youâre the most active. Nothing is holding you back so you just let go. You make mistakes and try fixing them, you fall and get back up. This is the time of the sun and flowers so you wonât stop.
August slowly lulls you back to the norms but is still warm. It calms you down and keeps you safe. The summer is still there but you know that freedom comes with responsibilities.
September comes with colour. The warmth is still there but itâs already fading away. The colourful leaves all around get your imagination to run wild and you let it.
October comes with the knowledge of darkness but still itâs a time to let yourself think and get ready for the end of the month when you get to express your imagination in a new way
November takes a quick hold of you and wraps you into darkness. Things might seem dead now but if you look up you might find the night skies to be surprisingly satisfying.
December brings joy again. You know itâs not long anymore until you get to greet January and the New Year but first you push yourself to the end of the month. The hot chocolates, friends and celebrations take away the feeling of cold. The year ends with a bang only to start over again.
The months form the year but not like you think they do. They have names and personalities just like anyone else. They have stories of their own, families and homes. Some are broken some are not.
Here you will get to learn about the months that are living now and how they met each other. Perhaps you might even hear of their powers and what makes them what they are.
So what exactly are months?
Thatâs what weâre going to tell you.
