My Reading Process
I had a friend ask me just what is involved in the tarot and nature divination readings that I offer on Etsy, so I thought I’d take a moment to talk about my process. I start by selecting a deck that I feel will speak best to the person’s question. Then I head outside, center myself, shuffle, and pull cards. I let the messages that immediately come to me sit for a bit while I take the cards with me on a short walk around my property.
I live on a couple acres, so there’s a lot to see and I open myself to any messages nature is trying to communicate that connect to the message from the cards. I might notice a tree, leaf, flower, insect, or vine, a bird, something calls out to me, and the full message solidifies. I snap some pictures and am ready to compile the reading.
Back inside, I get to work on the PDF for the person who requested the reading. It includes a cover page, copy of their question, a picture of the cards pulled, my written interpretation of the cards, the nature photo, and my interpretation of the message that nature has to offer. I also create a journaling sheet with a few questions for the person to reflect on after they read through everything. I’m a big fan of journaling.
