16 - Favourite Subspecies - Jinouga Ashu/Stygian Zinogre. This jerk gave me so much trouble when I first encountered him, but damn he’s beautiful. I miss him in MHXX but love playing with him in MHST.

I never finished this MH art challenge, so I figured why not continue with it? Maybe not as a daily thing, but updated frequently at least.
Favorite Piscine Wyvern: Lavasioth
Piscine wyverns are all terrible, but after playing generations, I admit this guy feels a little more “polished” than the others. It also looks funny.
10 - Favorite Carapaceon - Daimyou Zazami/Daimyo Hermitaur. I’m actually not that fond of any carapaceon (especailly shogun centaur, who is a total pain in the ass) but Daimyou Hermitaur is cute. I like Shen Gaoren too, it has a pretty sweet theme, but I’ve never fought one myself.
14 - Favourite Elder Dragon - Barufaruku. I've loved this thing since they first revealed it in that live MHXX announcement thing that livestreamed online a few months before XX came out. Although he still gives me a bit of trouble with the impressive long range of his... I suppose I'm just getting a taste of what the monsters I fight have to go through, with me being a long sword wielding hunter and all.
Favourtie herbivore - Black Diablos I am aware they most likely meant herbivores as in the small monsters who's primary functions are providing raw meat and scenery, but black diablos is technically an herbivore, so yeah. But my favourite small monster herbivore is kelbi. I love white monoblos too, but I can't remember if monoblos are herbivorse or not. I vaguely remember seeing a monoblos eat something meaty, but not sure? When they lose stamina they eat cacti like diablos, but that doesn't mean they don't also eat hunters. Maybe black diablos is so angry all the time because people keep telling her to stop telling everyone she's vegan and she's upset about it.
13 - Favourite Brute Wyvern - a tie between Dinovaldo/Glavenus and Ibirujo/Deviljho, I love both of these jerks. I used to be terrified of deviljho (his introduction in mh3g scared the hell out of me geez) but less so now, so fighting him is easier. Although he still surprises me when he canabalizes his fallen fellow deviljho within a minute of it dying... Dinovaldo on the other hand has always been a pleasure to fight, I feel like I’m fencing with another swordsman. A much larger, much more fiery swordsman.
23 - Favourite Second Generation Flagship - Narugakuruga/Nargacuga, flagship of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G/Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. He scared the hell out of me when I first encountered him lol, I just saw him as a swift demon in the trees. This one’s found a little dark coloured melynx and thinks it’s a baby naruga.
Favorite Theropod Bird Wyvern - Dosugianosu/Giadrome. Fought a bunch of these beautiful jerks back in MHFU, forgot about them mostly throughout MH3-MHgens, then got riduculously excited when they came back in MHXX.
