Maybe it was because I was running with my dog but I got the sudden image of Kensi running with Monty and her getting abducted or trapped. They’re in a dark room. She’s crying and holding onto him while he stands guard of her. 🥺🥺

Monty Headcanon:

Kensi and Deeks usually don't let Monty sleep on their bed, but sometimes Kensi lets him sleep with her when Deeks is away on LAPD assignment.

Deeks probably grumbles about Kensi spoiling Monty, but he's secretly relieved in the fact that Kensi won't be alone at home when he's away.

Forgive me dog lovers, but I'm in the mood for some angsty bittersweet DENSI/Monty fic. Some prompts:

Monty jumps in front of a bullet meant for Kensi. Sadly he dies. It isn't in vain though because when Kensi is being checked out at the hospital later in the day, she finds out that she's pregnant and realizes that Monty saved her baby.

DENSI are walking Monty when he takes off and knocks a little girl that lives in their neighborhood out of the way of a speeding car at the cost of a serious injury or worse.

Monty is dying from old age but he holds on long enough to meet Baby Deeks (Kensi is due at any time)
