The 2017 Month of the Ocean ended with the Ocean Festival in Bonifacio High Street. The Ocean Festival brought the ocean to “seaty dwellers” by engaging them creatively in activities that tackles issues confronting the fisheries sector. There was a panel on sustainable tourism, volunteer opportunities, and plastic; a concert; bubble show; and reading of a children's book. The Ocean Festival was organized by DENR-BMB, DA-BFAR, and PaNaGaT Network. More photos here.
