I wonder if I'm the first person to ever have a Thanksgiving mood table? @mummyshark
Every year, I put together a Halloween Mood Table. They're usually for me, but this year, I decided to dedicate one to my new cat.
“When I invented the Halloween Mood Table in 2007, it was because I was an emotional wreck and needed some tangible form of joy to grab hold to. This year, Halloween the cat has been that for me. So he can have the Mood Table — I really don’t need it.”
November’s display. Got some of the big dolls out.
Halloween Mood Table, 2016 Edition! (Actually, it’s more like Halloween Pair of TV Trays 2016, but you get the general idea.) This year’s table is covered in Ghostbusters and stuffed Chuckys, blinking LEDs and glow-in-the-dark things, spiders and action figures and too many things that topple over at the slightest touch. Thanks to Matt from Dinosaur Dracula for the original idea. Know there hasn’t been a proper update in a good while; life kind of got in the way this past summer. Hoping to have something out there to celebrate this year’s Month of Spooky Shit. Stay tuned to see if we can manage to do so!
So is not taking down your Halloween Mood Table the new not taking down your Christmas Tree?
2015 Mood table Desk
I’m ashamed to say I didn’t have this set up ‘til last night; nor does it have any books, games, or movies :/
It’s still real comfy looking with just the 3 pumpkin lights on. there’s still enough space left on the desk for me to still use it as a desk.
I’m quite happy with my small skeleton army. My Slimer as well as the rest of my Lego monsters on on my computer.
They’re out of frame, but I still have those blank vinyl pumpkin and Frankenstein toys to paint, and they are joined by an owl I got last year. I really need to decide what I want to do with them and actually do it some day.
