15 years of living and I've always considered Thursdays as my bad day of the week. I believe we all have an unlucky day of the week and if you're lucky enough, you don't. Every bad thing that could happen to a breathing teenage girl, you name it. It goes from as simple as a bad hair day to as bad as an accident. I've been living continuously thinking that every Thursday, there's always something that never goes in my way and I'm right all the time until 3 days ago, I was on my way to school and vaguely remembered that I have left my wallet at home without doing a double check to see if it's with me so I cursed to myself the whole way to school. I started overthinking, "Who should I lend money from to buy myself lunch?" "And how am I going to go home without my keys as I have placed them in the small pocket of my wallet?", I thought I was so unfortunate that day. But guess what? I didn't have to borrow money from anyone and neither do I have to have myself locked out of my apartment and wait until my parents are home later that night at 8pm because my wallet was actually in my bag. I considered this as a careless mistake. Throughout the day, nothing bad has happened. I call it the lucky Thursday, but maybe, you know what? We all have bad days but you know who it depends on? Yourself, myself, ourselves. You can choose to make this day bad or choose to make this day good. I no longer believe in bad days. The choice is mine, I could choose to wake up happy or wake up annoyed.
