Gilbert went to talk to Anne abt how all his dreams would be coming true If he proposed to Winnie - while she was drunk, may I add - and told her that the only thing keeping him from proposing to Winnie was her because he loves her, not Winnie. Then he gave her literally 5 FUCKING SECONDS TO THINK ABT HER FEELINGS FOR HIM AND AFTER SHE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING AND HER FRIENDS TOOK HER AWAY FROM HIM - she wasn't even able to answer him properly -, HE JUST STOOD UP AND LEFT!
The right next day he was already telling Bash that Anne didn't love him and that he was going to propose to Winnie UGHHHHHH

I know that everything is going to be worth it in the end bc they'll get together, marry and have six children but for now..... i'm just tired.
