Opinion on;

Character in general: I have not beaten FFVIII yet but I think I have a decent grip on Laguna’s personality and character, and I have to say he is pretty interesting. Even though it was a pet peeve of mine how much the story kept randomly switching between parties, I got used to it and came to like Laguna. It wasn’t till I saw more of him in Dissidia that I could say I came to love him though. I need to get around to finishing FF8 to learn more backstory and such :IHow they play them: I didn’t read any of this blog until now, which I gave a slight skim, but I like it. c: The mun also makes Laguna seem very approachable which is good. Like…I don’t know a lot about Laguna canonically, but reading through some of the posts have me learn about him and his personality, which is good if you can give an impression of a character to somebody who’s knowledge is limited on them.The Mun: We haven’t talked much but I have enjoyed conversations with you in the group. Also using Luna as a faceclaim omg adorable kitty let me pet her. Sailor Moon fan alone gives you a huge plus in my book.

Hope has suffered anxiety issues since very early childhood. Because of these issues, he was mostly homeschooled until the sixth grade when he was put into the school system by his father. Despite the two and a half years in the school system going relatively okay and for the better, he held a grudge with his father about it anyway. The issues persist until his late teens, where he slowly took the steps and exercises to fully take on confronting others, controlling and expressing his emotions in a more healthy way, etc. 

As an adult, they are isolated incidents and not as frequent as growing up. [LR spoilers below this point]

With post!LR Hope, the issues have been forcibly purged from him by god, so he often feels like pieces of him[his humanity] is missing, and he can’t really quite place what is. The anxiety he grew up with, and a few other quirks. Some have been slightly restored by Lightning’s efforts; but not everything about him can be restored. So LR Hope retains his modesty/humble attitude, because it was ‘pure’ to god rather than a hinderer. Lightning restored his shy behavior.
