Oryx, have you seen the 2011 Denjin Zaborger movie? If not, you should (it's up on youtube), since as a toku fan, you should experience the sheer insanity of it.

I have Kuuga, Agito and Wizard downloaded and waiting to be watched - do you have a recommendation as to which one I should watch first?

hmmm. all 3 are genuinely good shows so that makes it tough. kuuga is my fave of the 3 but i suppose it depends on what you’re in the mood for?

kuuga is more emotions-focused with a pretty basic core premise. it’s a little grim and heartbreaking at some points, but also very Inspirational, and has a lovely romance at its center. 

agito is a lot more plotty & is basically a mystery show in a lot of ways - there’s quite a bit going on in it and it was a little tough to get through for me personally bc of it, but it’s v satisfying in the end.

wizard is the king i think of the “neo-heisei episodic two-parter” format which w also used. it’s rather slow-paced and the actual plot doesn’t really kick in until the end but it’s got some great characters and many of the sexiest suits.

I see Ghost is ranked last, which is a shame, since it's a favourite of mine. Did it not sell well/appeal to kids?

mm yeah, while those polls are mostly aimed at adults (i believe?), unfortunately i don’t think ghost did all that well in any regard... poor little guy just wanted to hug the sadness out of everyone and folks left him hanging like that :/ smh
