thinking about the tdp s4 intro constellations map!!!

(if anyone else has already made a post dissecting this, esp the constellations inside the star maps, pls direct me to it bc i am uber interested!!)

sharing my thoughts though, more specifically about the archdragons on the edge:

we have:

sun dragon sol regem, met in season 2 crossing into xadia:

sky/storm dragon avizandum, met in season 3 via flashback:

earth dragon rex igneous, met in season 4 at umber tor:

& ocean dragon domina profundis, to be met in season 5 at this landmark shell beacon thing:

therefore, by process of elimination, there must be another type of archdragon to be met likely in season 6 that’s tied to this location:

this dragon has to be either a moon or star arch dragon, by process of elimination.

if this dragon will be met in a flashback though, it is likely luna tenebris:

(see the resemblance in location?)

otherwise, if it’s to be met in real time with the plot progression by our main dra-gang, it’s still more likely to be a moon archdragon imo.

Why not a star dragon?

Additionally

as these dragons are either far from Xadia or intentionally repelled from it, it is highly unlikely we will ever meet one of these dragons.

However when it comes to Moon dragons?

That post about Sornieth's moons is going around and I just though about it-- did the Eleven also make the moons? Did Earthshaker go "screw it, put this rock in space. Give it a friend"?? Screw this paltry planet with its colors and life and air I'm putting my clan on the moon.

info: The first mythical moon dragon was so enchanting that the first sun dragon created the world and stars for the two of them to share. But their magic was so strong that they had to separate themselves or risk destroying everything. Legend claims that they became the sun and moon and their descendants now live in our world.

Description: The usual pale silver-white color of most moon dragons. Sunny yellow eyes and a bad burn scar on the left of their back. A dark silver crescent moon shape can be found on the outer side of both eyes.

Care taker in training for Taladier, this was cut short by the attack of the fire dragons. Captured after the battle of moon point, they would go to be held as a captive in flamald along with several other caretakers of the moon.

A silent observer with a dislike for the mc(nothing particularly more than their general dislike for fire dragons in general). They are known to be righteous and caring, cheerful and optimistic, at least until their recent imprisonment in the capital of their clans conquerors. Now they throw up a cold exterior, nearly as silent as a shadow, a hint of an angry glare in their eye when in the presence of a fire dragon.

For the MC they shall play the role of the bearer of of bad news and also the representative of Taladier on the MCs journey.
