Here are the dragon queen, Zubeia, and Nyx, the elf thief. Although they're never seen together in the series, they make a good pair, don't you think?

I'm still thinking about how The Jailer was confirmed to be a Dark Mage. Yes, I know this is old news by now but it makes me think about an old theory of mine. About how the Archdragons most likely used Leola to trap Aaravos.

We know that Aaravos is not easily fooled, in fact, he is very often ahead of the game, one step ahead of everyone else, so for him to lower his guard is a hard task. Zubeia literally said herself that they had to deceive him to trap him.

And if the Archdragons can ally with a Dark Mage showing their massive hypocrisy - especially considering they forced humans out of their homes and murdered thousands of them because of dark magic, if wouldn't be so farfetched to say that they can use Aaravos' murdered daughter to capture and imprison him.

I also love how Zubeia left out in her PowerPoint presentation to team Zym that she and the Archdragons worked with a dark mage - she says Aaravos is the master manipulator but she was literally manipulating team Zym into her ideology of villainizing Aaravos without any added context or nuance about his life and trauma. She purposely left out information to suit herself and her ideals.

The Jailer being a Dark Mage has so many more implications than first meets the eye and it is still on my mind even now.

The more and more information we gain about Archdragons and Xadia, makes me hate them more. Whether it be the writing or just something else.

Like, why were we led to believe the complete destruction and attempted genocide of Elarion and humans was completely justified??

"Oh but dark magic" I don't give a fuck "They hunted the unicorn to extinction" I don't give a fuck. "They poached creatures" I. Don't. Give. A. Fuck.

The kicker is most people in the story, human or otherwise would agree it was justified for the single reason of dark magic bad, When in reality humans were just tired of fucking starving. Elves are just whiny bastards who want to be the top dogs and when they realized it was being challenged they got pissy, When the Dragons realized their Pride and Joy elves were pissy they took it out on the humans.

They kept the lush and fertile lands and kicked humans to the barren lands in a full effort to have them die slowly.

Humans are the victims all around in the world of the dragon prince. Elves and archdragons started or kicked off most issues. Vent over I will accept no criticism.
