Usagi Tsukino [Sailor Moon] by TsuyaNoUchi

The Secret of Moonacre (2008)
Moon princes Hinata Hyuuga 🌙
So, the poll of three days... made me come to an conclusion usagi would win, and indeed I spent my nights and even daylight days writing their perspectives on sailor moon/usagi tsukino!yuu... And since usagi is 14-15 years old here... All of these is STRICTLY platonic. That being said...enjoy ❤️
heartslabyul: before riddle's overblot...
Ace Trappola: Ace is completely irritated by her. To him, Usagi is a walking disaster who doesn't belong at NRC. She trips over nothing, cries when Grim scratches her, and whines about wanting to go home. He spends the entire Dwarfs' Mine trip complaining that they were paired up with a middle-school toddler. When the mine monster attacks, he gets stuck physically dragging her out of the way because she freezes up.
Deuce Spade: Deuce is incredibly stressed out by her tears. His delinquent-turned-honor-student mindset makes him want to protect a younger, magicless girl, but her total lack of survival skills terrifies him. He gets flustered because she’s a girl, but her 15-year-old clumsy nature makes him treat her more like a fragile, annoying younger sister he needs to keep from getting killed.
Riddle Rosehearts: Riddle absolutely cannot stand her. Usagi breaks rules without even trying... forget about that! she’s late, her uniform is messy, she sleeps in class, and she eats tarts when she shouldn't. Did he see an spiritual sister of ace? (Lmao) When he yells at her, she doesn't argue; she just bursts into giant, loud tears. Riddle finds her entirely pathetic and exhausting. Because she is a young girl with zero magic, his strict upbringing prevents him from using physical intimidation, but his verbal scoldings are furious. (Brother give her some break...)
Trey Clover: Trey defaults to complete older-brother mode. He sees that Usagi is just a homesick, normal kid who is completely out of her depth. He constantly gives her sweets, patches up her scraped knees from her clumsy falls, and acts as a human shield between her and Riddle's temper tantrums.
Cater Diamond: Cater finds her cute in a "clumsy little sister" way but keeps his distance. She isn't polished enough for his Magicam feed, and her loud crying fits ruin the casual, easygoing vibe he likes to maintain. He treats her with basic kindness but avoids getting stuck babysitting her.
after riddle's overblot
Riddle Rosehearts: Riddle is completely humbled. He feels an immense wave of guilt for terrorizing a magicless 15-year-old. He drops all his harshness around her. While he still makes sure she follows basic school rules, he changes his tone to a patient, almost parental teacher, actively helping her study so she doesn't fail out of NRC.
Ace & Deuce: Their bond becomes a classic sibling dynamic. Ace still teases her relentlessly about her clumsy nature and calls her a crybaby, but he will immediately throw hands if a student from another dorm tries to bully her. Deuce becomes her self-appointed guardian, constantly walking her to class to make sure she doesn't trip down the stairs or get lost.
Trey & Cater: Trey basically adopts her into the dorm kitchen, making sure she always has a safe place to hide out and eat cake when Grim is stressing her out. Cater treats her like a cherished family—he’ll take silly photos with her and treat her gently, glad that her bright, innocent energy keeps the post-Overblot dorm atmosphere light and positive during unbirthday party.
savanaclaw:
Leona Kingscholar: He is completely repulsed by her energy. To Leona, she is exactly like his annoying nephew Cheka—loud, sticky, completely lacking a volume knob, and constantly invading his personal space. Because she’s a 15-year-old girl, his gentlemanly upbringing means he won't physically throw her out physically anywhere like how NRC students beat up other students. but he groans the second he hears her footsteps. When she tries to interrogate him about the injuries, she probably trips over his tail. He just sighs, rolls away, and tells Ruggie to "get this noisy cub out of my face."
Ruggie Bucchi: Ruggie finds her exhausting but pity-inducing. When she fails at investigating and breaks into tears because she’s homesick or hungry, Ruggie actually winds up sharing a piece of cheap bread just to make her shut up. He thinks she has zero survival instincts and wonders how she hasn't been eaten alive at NRC by beastmen of his dorm yet.
Jack Howl: Jack is in absolute agony. He is a strict, honorable wolf, and seeing a young, magicless girl wandering into a dorm full of rough beastmen sets off his protector alarms. He spends the entire pre-Overblot arc angrily following her around, barking at her to go back to her dorm before she gets hurt, entirely stressed out by her clumsiness. (He has maybe a sister cause it's canonically mentioned he has siblings so probably he'd treat her similar like to his sisters.)
Octavinelle, before azul's overblot:
Azul Ashengrotto: Azul is on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of her. She drops entire trays of expensive glasses when during chapter 3-9, gets orders completely wrong, and eats the leftover parfaits when she thinks no one is looking. When Azul tries to corner her with an contract (canon chapter 3-10, using ramshackle as collateral) she just bursts into giant, loud tears lmao Because she’s a 15-year-old magicless girl, he can’t use aggressive intimidation without looking like a monster to the rest of the school. He finds her completely useless because she has no grand ambitions or greed to exploit. She just wants to go home and eat cake.
Jade Leech: Jade handles her with a terrifyingly polite, customer-service smile. He recognizes that her clumsiness is 100% genuine and not a tactical act, which makes her a rare person in NRC. He quietly follows her around with a towel, cleaning up her spills and subtly manipulation-testing her. He finds her pure, simple-minded nature highly amusing, treating her like a strange little land-creature that wandered into the deep sea.
Floyd Leech: Floyd is completely obsessed with her. The second he sees her long, twin-tail blonde hair, he is hooked. He assigns her the nickname koebi-chan... because she’s bright, small, and constantly doing goofy things. Her long hair is a massive plaything for him; he will literally grab her by her twin tails to hold her still or wrap them around his fingers while he’s bored. Because she reacts so loudly, screaming, crying, and flailing around, Floyd finds her incredibly fun to tease, though he locks down any actual malicious "squeezing" because she’s a kid.
After overblot:
Azul Ashengrotto: Azul permanently bans her from touching the kitchen or the cash register. However, realizing her emotional outburst helped snap him out of his Overblot, he grudgingly accepts her presence. He sets a strict boundary, no romance, she is a minor, but he uses her as a "market research asset." Since she loves food and has zero filter, he lets her taste-test new pastries for Mostro Lounge, paying her in sweets just to keep her happy and quiet.
Jade Leech: Jade remains her quiet supervisor. When Floyd is being too rough or pulling her hair too hard, Jade steps in with a polite cough to enforce boundaries. He ensures Usagi’s long hair is tied back properly if she’s near the food, treating her with the gentle care you’d give a very clumsy, precious pet.
Floyd Leech: Floyd becomes her self-appointed giant brother. Her long blonde hair becomes his permanent hobby. Whenever she visits the lounge, Floyd will drag her onto a couch by her collar and spend an hour poorly braiding her hair or putting silly clips in it. If anyone from another dorm tries to make fun of her for crying or being stupid, Floyd’s eyes turn dead and he threatens to "turn them into minced meat," fiercely protecting his favorite little koebi-chan.
Scarabia, before jamil's overblot:
Kalim Al-Asim: Kalim instantly adopts her into his heart. Having dozens of younger siblings back home in the Silk City, Usagi’s loud crying, clinginess, and total lack of coordination immediately trigger his big-brother instincts. He doesn't care that she is failing the training drills; he spends his time piling silk pillows under her, feeding her exotic fruits, and telling her not to cry. He treats her with pure, innocent family affection, entirely respecting her age boundary while viewing her as another precious younger sister.
Jamil Viper: Jamil is on the absolute brink of insanity because of her. As the master planner, a person coming on his way he cannot control or predict is his worst nightmare. He looks at Usagi and instantly compares her to his younger sister, Najma. However, Jamil realizes with immense frustration that Najma is lightyears more mature, independent, and street-smart than Usagi. Watching a 15-year-old girl sob because she dropped her snack or refuse to march because her feet hurt completely destroys his patience. He has to use a heavily strained, polite servant mask, but internally, he is screaming.
After jamil's overblot
Kalim Al-Asim: Kalim completely doubles down on the sibling treatment. Now that the stress is over, he constantly invites her to Scarabia banquets on the magic carpet. Every time she visits, he tries to gift her rare jewels, expensive hair ornaments for her odangos, and crates of exotic pastries, treating her like royalty simply because he loves her bright, innocent energy.
Jamil Viper: Jamil’s opinion shifts from pure hatred to a weary, cynical acceptance. He completely locks down the minor boundary and treats her like a highly chaotic younger cousin he is forced to look after. When she visits, he watches her out of the corner of his eye to ensure she doesn't trip over the palace carpets or choke on her food. He still thinks Najma is vastly superior, but he grudgingly makes sure Usagi’s plate is filled with her favorite sweets whenever Kalim throws a party, letting out a heavy, tired sigh every time she starts whining.
Pomefiore, before vil's overblot:
Vil Schoenheit: Vil is in absolute agony looking at her. He sees that Usagi has incredible raw potential, she has beautiful features, flawless skin, and gorgeous, long blonde hair. But the way she treats herself makes him want to scream. Her posture is a complete slouch, she trips over her own feet during dance practice, her idea of "skincare" is wiping her face with a sleeve, and her diet is 90% cheap convenience store candy. Vil treats her with a terrifyingly strict, drill-sergeant intensity. He locks her into waist-trainers, forces her to walk with books on her head, and bans her from eating junk food. He spends the entire arc furiously trying to polish this "clumsy gemstone" into something presentable, completely exasperated by her childish whines.
Rook Hunt: Rook is completely enchanted, and Usagi is absolutely terrified of him. Rook assigns her the nickname "Princesse de la Lune" (Princess of the Moon) because of her odango hair and ethereal potential. He spends his time lurking in the shadows, intensely poetry-ranting about the "tragic beauty of her tears" and the "unpolished shine of her soul." Usagi spends the entire chapter hiding behind Deuce or Epel because Rook keeps popping out of closets to compliment her hair or examine her posture with a magnifying glass. To her, he is a total stalker creep.
Epel Felmier: Epel absolutely loves her. For the first time, there is someone in Pomefiore who hates Vil’s strict rules, tiny diet portions, and fancy manners as much as he does. While Vil isn't looking, Epel and Usagi secretly bond in the corners of the lounge. Epel sneaks her heavy, rustic country snacks and apple juice, and Usagi vents to him about how much her feet hurt in high heels. He feels an intense, protective boy-from-the-country urge to shield her from Vil’s shouting, treating her like a sweet, relatable friend from back home.
After vil's overblot:
Vil Schoenheit: Vil accepts that she will always be a childish crybaby, but he refuses to let her ruin her appearance. He adopts a strict big-brother/mentor role. He personally formulates a custom shampoo and gloss routine for her long blonde hair, ensuring those twin tails look immaculate. While he still scolds her if she slouches, his tone becomes deeply protective. He makes sure no one at NRC treats her poorly, ensuring his "polished gemstone" is shielded from the rougher dorms.
Rook Hunt: Rook’s adoration never stops. Now that the stress of the tournament is over, he openly praises her bravery during the Overblot. He continues to write dramatic poems about her, and while Usagi still shivers and runs away whenever he greets her with a loud "Beauté!", he considers himself her ultimate, chivalrous protector from afar.
Epel Felmier: Epel becomes her permanent partner-in-crime. Their friendship solidifies into a ride-or-die sibling dynamic. If Vil places Usagi on another strict diet, Epel is already waiting behind Ramshackle Dorm with a basket of heavy country bread and baked apples to keep her happy. He proudly considers her his favorite friend at NRC, fiercely stepping up to punch anyone who tries to make fun of her clumsiness.
Ignihyde, Before idia's overblot:
Idia Shroud: He is completely, utterly repulsed by her existence. To Idia, Usagi is the human embodiment of a pop-up ad you can’t close. She screams when alarms go off, blubbers over his expensive gaming gear, and trips over the server cables. Because she’s a 15-year-old minor, he keeps his physical distance out of pure social awkwardness, but his vocal hostility is through the roof. He hides behind his floating tablet, hissing that her "normie NPC crybaby energy" is lagging his system. He literally locks his room door and refuses to look at her because her chaotic presence triggers his fight-or-flight response.
Ortho Shroud: Ortho is the absolute opposite. He adopts her instantly as a precious sister-figure. Because Ortho is an advanced humanoid who loves gathering data and making human connections, Usagi’s highly expressive, emotional reactions are fascinating to him. When she cries because she misses her family, Ortho pat-pats her head, brings her virtual sweets, and prints out coloring pages to calm her down. He treats her with pure, innocent warmth, eagerly dragging her along to show off his tech upgrades like a proud little brother showing off his toys.
After idia's overblot:
Idia Shroud: He still finds her incredibly annoying, but the hatred turns into a weary, grumbling tolerance. He establishes a strict, non-negotiable boundary: she is banned from coming within five feet of his personal consoles. He won't ever admit it, but her emotional meltdown during the Overblot deeply affected him. To keep her happy and far away from his room, he casually drops vintage retro game consoles off at Ramshackle Dorm, treating her like a hyperactive kid who needs a distraction so the adults can actually work in peace.
Ortho Shroud: Ortho remains her ultimate tech guardian. He installs custom, un-clumisy bumper cases on her phone so she doesn't crack the screen when she invariably drops it down the stairs. Whenever she visits Ignihyde, Ortho happily walks her around, ensuring she doesn't wander into toxic waste sectors or trip over high-voltage wiring, treating his favorite "big sister" with the ultimate sibling care.
Diasomnia, before malleus's overblot:
Malleus Draconia: Malleus is used to Yuu treating him like a regular guy, but Usagi takes it to a terrifying new level of clumsiness. She sees "Tsunotaro" as a friendly, lonely guy, but whenever she runs up to greet him, she trips over her own shoelaces and face-plants at his feet. Malleus is a bit annoyed and heavily bewildered. He is a powerful, ancient dragon, yet he constantly has to use his magic just to catch this fragile 15-year-old human girl mid-air before she cracks her skull open. He likes her lack of fear, but her absolute inability to walk in a straight line genuinely stresses him out.
Sebek Zigvolt: Sebek goes absolutely insane because of her. Sebek doesn't mean to be mean, he just has no volume control and speaks with brutal, military bluntness. The first time he barks at her for disrespecting Waka-sama, Usagi doesn't bark back; she bursts into massive, earsplitting, wailing tears. Sebek completely panics. His hands shake, his ears turn red, and he tries to yell at her to stop crying, which only makes her sob harder. Every time Sebek walks into a room, Usagi cowers, leaving the poor half-fae completely stressed out.
Silver: Silver defaults to immediate, honorable big-brother mode. Because he was raised by Lilia in a rough forest, he is incredibly patient with helpless creatures. When Usagi is crying because Sebek scared her, Silver quietly steps between them, pats her head, and hands her a tissue. If she trips, his lightning-fast knight reflexes catch her effortlessly. He treats her with a calm, gentle boundary, always ensuring the "little human sister" is safe from the louder personalities of the school.
Lilia Vanrouge: Lilia is peak chaotic fatherly mode. He absolutely adores her. Having raised Malleus and Silver, he looks at this messy, emotional 15-year-old and instantly wants to baby her. He ignores her total lack of magic and focuses entirely on making her comfortable. He invites her over for tea, braids her long blonde hair into silly patterns, and tries to cook her horrific, toxic fae pastries, which Silver secretly throws away so Usagi doesn't get food poisoning.
After overblot and overall book 7:
Malleus Draconia: Malleus becomes her ultimate, silent guardian. He stops being annoyed by her clumsiness and instead uses subtle wind magic to gently levitate her back onto her feet whenever she stumbles. He treats her with deep, platonic fondness, sitting with her in the botanical gardens and letting her chat about normal, boring human things while he quietly listens.
Sebek Zigvolt: Sebek is permanently traumatized by her tears. He actively forces his voice down to a strained, hilarious whisper whenever she is within twenty feet. If she drops her pencil or spills her juice, Sebek aggressively and loudly (but quietly) grumbles while picking it up for her, terrified that if he raises his voice, she will start wailing again.
Silver & Lilia: Silver remains her dedicated, stoic knight, often just lifting her off the ground to carry her across rough castle cobblestones so she doesn't break an ankle. Lilia steps back from the kitchen and instead uses his massive fortune to buy her giant crates of human-world candy and snacks, proudly declaring to the rest of NRC that the "little Moon Princess" is under the official protection of the diasomnia students.
