How do you protect your TAV from being stolen?
Stolen how? Like their appearance? Cause there’s only a handful of face presets, hair and clothing options so there’s going to be at least some physical similarities with the vast majority of Tavs.
Can someone steal the concept of your Tav? I mean, I guess someone could make a human wild magic sorcerer Tav named Borgan who’s also part illithid and grew up in a restrictive cult but like…I don’t think anyone is doing that and I really wouldn’t care that much if they were. It doesn’t affect what I’m doing on my blog at all.
Unless it was made with the intent to like, mock me which would make me feel bad, I suppose. I would just block them and move on.
I actually think it’s a good thing people feel inspired by others creations, we’re all making stories from the same source material in our free time for fun, and trying to claim ownership over ideas or headcanons makes a fandom real unfun, real fast. I’ve seen it happen many times.
If someone is that worried about oc theft the actual solution would be never to post anything public at all, and that’s no fun.
