I was ju at doodling in class and decided to render it on my phone. Ibis paint is def better than Picsart 😭

Nightblight is (finally) ready. This is my moon redesign/ potential au moon depending on if I do a comic.

Sun fans, just hold out a little longer, Sunlight will be designed soon as the counterpart of Nightblight…

Introducing...Moon!

The naptime attendant and security bot. Once upon a time he and Sun performed in the theatre for all the kids, but due to some...changes in direction, they were relocated to the Superstar Daycare.

Things were rough for a while, with both bots buckling under the pressure of sharing a body and having to manage so many kids all on their own. Management noticed once revenue took a hit and made the effort to hire them some helpers! (Stick around to meet them). Since then, the daycare has been bigger and better than ever, with a new quiet section for naptime and more introverted kids.

Through not entirely authorised means, Sun and Moon got separated. Now each have a body of their own to customise to their hearts content. Management wasn't pleased at having an attraction so heavily changed at first, but kids and parents alike loved it...which means more money for the company. Management is more than okay to turn a blind eye.

We wanted Moon to have more of a cozy pyjama vibe while still keeping the original jester theming, as well as functionality. There is a hole in the back of his shirt to allow his hook to connect to the wire, and it can also be accessed through his cloak.

The ends of his pants, and the entirety of his cloak, have 5 points which make a star shape.

Moon removes his cloak while patrolling for more range of movement.

He consistently has half & half harlequin-like colouring as well as many patterns to keep in line with his jester role.

We replaced his bells with plush pom poms as we thought the bells would be both distracting for sleeping children, and give him away when patrolling the pizzaplex.

His sleeves and pants have glow in the dark yellow accents for children who may be scared of the dark.

To harken back to his and Sun's theatre days, their faceplates have matching comedy/tragedy elements with their left eyes.

I love them a lot. They’re the versions I write for over at @ficmachine

Sun’s more colourful for the child appeal because bright colours = fun. He’s the big, warm ball of sunshine.

Moon has more dulled down “sleepy time” colours since he’s responsible for putting kids to sleep during naptime. Yes the patterns on his clothes glow in the dark.

It’s moon! His costume got a little more fancy since the pizzaplex reopened, shame about his eye. He told me his faceplate melted a bit but he doesn’t mind too much, he said it makes them look cool haha. I’m glad to see that the kids aren’t scared of them anymore. Ok well, MOST of the kids, some think he’s a little too creepy.

(Oh boy howdy it’s Moony! Now that I got the celestial daycare attendants done, just wait till you see the rest of the cast, animatronics included >:))) )

Introducing the boy, the myth, the legend, my version of the famous Sunny: SUNBUN! Sunbun’s design was heavily designed for comfort. I wanted to make him as cuddly as possible! After the fire, this was what he was refurbished to look like. He was also given plenty of upgrades! Many of which you can see here such as his new eyeballs and mouth design that can open - this way Sunbun can make silly faces with the kids and express himself better. It also makes him less scary to younger kiddos. His body is also now covered by a layer of a medium-hard silicone so he’s easy to clean and won’t hurt the kids if he accidentally pumps into them or vice versa. I love love love this little guy! I am so proud of his design. He’s a bundle of joy and I can’t wait for you all to love him just as much as I do in my new AU.
