for this scene where gary comments about the moon in japanese is written ”綺麗な月だな。マサラタウンを出て、初めての夜もこんな月が出ていた…”

which translates into “It's a beautiful moon. After leaving Pallet Town, the moon was like this on my first night ...”

in japanese, this scene is written where gary speaks as ”不思議だな…あの日、キミが遅刻しなかったら。あの夜僕がこんな月を見ていなかったら。今こうしているこの時間は、まったく違うものになっていたかもしれない。その時何を選ぶかで、未来は無限に広がっていくんだ。” which translates into : “It's strange ... If you weren't late that day. If I hadn't seen such a moon that night. This time I'm doing now may have been completely different. and well this is my most favorite translation, where gary talks about possibilities is written in japanese as “別に！ただ僕たちにはまだまだ色んな可能性があるんじゃないかと思っただけだ” which translates into “Separately! I just wondered if there were still many possibilities for us.”
