Cup of Coffee

Kevin sits in his room in front of his desk. His phone placed in front of him as a song plays on repeat. He turns to the side and look at the clock. It was already past 12 am. He sighs. He was too stressed and too nervous to sleep. They had been on a tight schedule and all over that Kingdom was going to start soon. Kevin had been stressed thinking about Kingdom. He was nervous. The members had told him again and again to not but he couldn't help it. Suddenly there is a knock on the door. "Come in." He mumbled. The door slowly opens. Jacob peeks his head in smiling softly at him. He pushes the door open as he walks in. Two hot cup of coffee in his hands. He approaches Kevin and sits on the chair beside the younger male. "Hyung... Why haven't you slept yet?" Kevin asks eyeing the older. "You worry me baby." Jacob said as he hands him one of the coffee filled with coffee. "I am sorry hyung." Kevin mumbles holding the cup. Jacob sighs. "You don't need to say sorry. I can't help but worry about you but it is not your fault." Jacob assures as he takes a sip from his coffee. Kevin gives him a grateful smile.
"So what have you so stressed and pressured? You know you can talk to me." Jacob says in a soft voice. Kevin opens his mouth to say something but then hesitates. "I just... I don't know. I want to do my best. I want to show my best to TheB. I am scared something might go wrong and I won't be able to." He says sighing as he looks at the steam escaping from his cup of coffee. "Kevin you will do great. You always do. I believe you. I know you can. You shouldn't worry too much." Jacob says as he puts the cup he was holding down on the table as he looks at the younger with a soft gaze.
"I am just nervous. What if we don't win hyung? TheB might be disappointed with us." Kevin says in a small voice. "I am sure we can do it. And TheB won't be disappointed over something like that." Jacob says. "I guess... I am just too worried and I just keep overthinking and I feel like I am not doing enough or working hard enough." Kevin blurts out. He takes a sip of the coffee Jacob made. The warm coffee soothing his throat. "Listen Kevin. You do great. All the time. You work so hard. You don't have to doubt yourself like that. And you won't be there alone. We all would be there with you. We can do it okay. Don't over think." He says. Kevin nods as he continues drinking the coffee.
"Hyung can I get a hug?" Kevin suddenly asks. Jacob looks at him not really expecting the younger to say that. "Of course." He says. Kevin literally throws himself on the older's lap. His arms wrapped around the older. Clinging to the older like a kaola as he sat on his lap. "Thank you hyung." He says in a small voice. Jacob smiles hugging back the younger. "Thank you for always being there. For always knowing what to say and do when I am stressed. Also your coffee makes me feel so much better." Kevin says a small smile on his face. "A cup of coffee. A hug. A nice talk. It is all you need when you are stressed." Jacob says with a chuckle. Silence falls upon them as both of them stays quiet listening to the song that was playing softly.
~Don't stay awake for too long. Don't go to bed. I'll make a cup of coffee for your head. It'll get you up and going out of bed~
"I love you hyung." Kevin mumbles in a sleepy voice. His head leaning against Jacob's shoulder. "I love you too Kevin. A lot." Jacob says in a soft voice feeling Kevin smile against his shoulder. One of his hand playing with the younger's hair. The medoly of the song playing, the comforting touches and the warm hug lulling Kevin to sleep.
When Kevin was fully asleep Jacob stands up while still holding up the younger. The younger had literally passed out. 'He must have been so tired.' Jacob thinks to himself. He walked towards the bed and places the younger down on it. He climbs onto the bed pulling the blanket up over both him and Kevin. He lays down beside the younger hugging him, pulling him closer. He gently pecks the younger's forehead. "I love you. I am always here for you when you need. With your favorite cup of coffee" He whispers with a goofy smile. Kevin doesn't reply but a small smile appears on his lips. Jacob closes his eyes enjoying the warmth he felt laying besides the younger as he slowly drifts off to sleep. The song still playing softly on repeat in the background.
