I just finished this piece that contains the three main characters from my book, The Moon’s Mirror! I’m really proud of how this turned out and I hope you like it too!

This is my second published book so far! If you like Studio Ghibli, then this is the book for you! Here’s a quick description of the book.
A boy named Simon wakes up in a strange world, summoned there by a girl with white hair. The two must embark on a journey across this mythical land in hopes of finding answers, and Simon will be put to the test as malevolent forces seek to prevent the children from taking the key to their quest.

Harvey opened the door to find his wife Isamar grinning at him.
“You look happy dear”
“I am happy Harvey, We have a baby”.
He dropped his briefcase “a….Baby….”
She nodded and took his hand leading him in the back room. She pointed to the fenced off area proudly “look at him”.
“What is that!”
“Its a hedgehog.”
“I know what a hedgehog looks like, but where did it come from?”
“I was just cleaning brush and I found the little guy”
“Are hedgehogs even indigenous to the valley?”
“I don’t know, can we keep him?”
“Do you know anything about taking care of one, do you know what they eat, What if he gets sick, What if they're not legal? You know if some places there a threat to agriculture”.
“But he’s all alone and doesn't have anybody.”.
“How are you going to take care of cows, chickens, goats, and this guy”
“Well if we have a baby how am I going to take care of all the animals and our child too, you're going to help me.”
“Well thankfully we don’t have to worry about for awhile”.
Isamar bit her lip and avoided Harvey's eyes.
He peered down at her from the edges of his glasses. “Isamar?”
“Well I did say we had a baby”.
Harvey had to grab the wall before he passed out.
