[May not be now, but a little trigger warning: brief mention of self-harm)
I have a few (a lot) things to talk about the first two episodes of SUNTINY, but one thing I liked a lot was the small callback to Sun's episode in Y-Destiny when he lost all his money in online betting. I think I miss this show more than I thought (also because it was because of Y-Destiny, specially because of PuthKaeng, that this blog was created).
Because hearing Nuea calling Sun "Teacher Sun" after almost 4 YEARS nearly brought me to tears
Revisiting my good boy Third (back in my day, we used to call him "Thurs", you know, because he was representation of Thursday)
Too bad I can't show you guys my live reaction to the scene of Sun (in Nuea's body) f*cking his boyfriend (meaning, Nat doing it with Max) because I don't wanna dox myself like that. But a faithful representation would be these 😯😱 emojis (yes, it was something I never thought I would see and I saw it TWICE in a span of an hour).
Not to mention that I started getting philosophical about the implications of body swapping in their case, meaning whether Sun's erectile dysfunction would go with him to Nuea's body or if it would stay in his body, even when the underlying reasons for it to happen (him overthinking, getting stressed, stuff like that) went with him. Like, if the soul is not longer in the body, would the things affecting the body, provoked by the soul (or maybe brain, but mixed with the soul) continue affecting the body or would the soul take them with it?
After all, we saw Sun!Nuea f*ck Nuea!Sun, with no visible issue. Just for the second episode give me the exact situation I was thinking about, with Sun!Nuea not getting hard, despite having done before.
And then, we got them switching back and forth the moment things started getting sour again, something I don't think it was the primary reason for it to happen but that it influences it.
I was having fun, laughing and cringing and enjoying my silly little show, for them to make Sun!Nuea talk about how Nuea takes sleeping pills and, apparently, used to self-harm, always keeping things for himself and pretending that everything was ok. Like, a total tone shift from a "haha" show to a "shit just got a bit too real" show.
Regardless, I glad MaxNat got the chance to revisit SunNuea, and I got the chance to see my Max be silly again, he's been too serious lately.
