♥ - Family headcanons

Let’s pretend for a moment that Zack and Gen are a pair of dads instead of SOLDIERs. 

Zack is a fun Dad. He carries the kids, races them, tickles them, wrestles them. He absolutely loves making them laugh and smile. He is also acutely aware of all the dangers in any given situation. His Dad radar is powerful and yet to be beaten. 

Genesis is quite affectionate. He loves hugs and cuddling up on movie night. He also loves reading to his darlings before bed. He doesn’t expect them to match his taste for high literature, but being with Zack helped him to loosen up a lot. Good doesn’t always mean fancy and that works just fine. 

Both take equal responsibility for discipline, cooking, cleaning, etc. They prefer to make sure their kids know what they did was wrong and why they are being punished. Zack may make better spaghetti than Genesis can, but Genesis does make his sandwiches with love and that’s hard to beat.

hello there followers of mine! Now for those of you that follow me for my dragon age shenanigans (which im assuming is most of you??? its like 90% of my blog but I digress) I have a question for you, I’m currently writing a fic of my companion!adaar au in the style of a choose your own adventure novel, complete with race and or class specific dialogue and everything, would any of you read something like this if I posted it?

If you're still doing the OC fact thing—Daylen often writes in Mirror Writing because it's easier for him/hardly anyone corrected him when he was first learning to write. In the Circle, the Templars were always suspicious of his journals and would go through them regularly to make sure he wasn't doing any blood magic under their noses. (He left them often insulting and sarcastic notes about their noses because of it.)

Pfft. Circle Alim would roll his eyes and accuse Daylen of letting gossip make him paranoid. The Templars are good people who are there to protect the mages. Seriously Daylen, open your eyes.

for the oc ask thing: theron's technically a mage, he just can't do much of anything with his magic. except make it snow lightly when he's extremely distressed/sad/angry and promote plant growth around him when he's very happy/excited (plant growth because dalish and nature).

Sounds like he’s a bit of a hedge wizard! 

Laughlin doesn’t have a magic bone in his body. He’s not particularly in awe of it either. It’s always been around him and the woman he’s been taken with (Betrys), on and off for years, is a formidable mage.
