To the most wonderful soul in all of creation,
I used to wonder if life was just one tragedy after another. I met you and your very existence proved that it wasn't true.
I didn't get to say goodbye, but when our paths cross again, hopefully it's someplace where the sun shines brightly, where possibilities seem endless, and where every moment of joy you put out into the world comes back to you in ways you never expected.
You were like beginning anew. Possibility and wonder with every breath you drew. It was a honor to have known you, and an even greater pleasure to have called you my niece, Vespera Heladottir-Banner.
Rest in peace,
Matthew Murdock
