there’s an inexplicable bond that he shares with his brother; it had become much stronger since they reunited once again. whenever rune was upset, elias would know --- he didn’t even need for it to rain for him to know. perhaps, that connection had gotten more intense with their heart being one and the same, but he could swear he could feel him even before that.
he approached the shorter dragon in silence; the raindrops freezing the moment they came into the wyvern’s vicinity, becoming nothing but glittering stardust. he understood why his sibling was sad --- he was mourning, grieving. albeit elias had never understood what it was like to be a parent, nor the desire to even become one, it didn’t matter when it came to rune. he’d be there, for him, no matter what.
