Lou's Team!

@moonlight-thestral Here's Lou's team! They were a lot of fun to go with, because Lou is the type to go cutesy, but also not!

So, Carbink and Diancie both reminded me of the Igniliths in Death's Eyes, which Lou has a relation to, so they definitely had to have them!

Torchic has been following Lou around since they left home. Not a surprise at all, since Lou kept leaving treats on the path like Hansel and Gretel, but still. Torchic is the unofficial partner pokemon, since Lou never got around to putting it in a pokeball.

Klefki and Yamask came around during Lou's treasure-hunting adventures. Klefki had been wandering around the entrance, and Yamask was deep deep underground. They're surprisingly antagonistic to each other, and only cooperate when Lou uses their serious voice.

Swirlix is there because Lou likes sweets and Swirlix is like cotton candy. Lou wouldn't have -or need- any other reason than that!

Peony: What’s your favorite hot beverage?

I don't usually like hot drinks actually! I even prefer cold coffees over hot ones, and since I can't taste, hot foods needs to have a good texture(one of the reasons I don't like soups) and hot liquids don't really have that.

BUT there's a special drink made by one of my crones called Nectar that can be served hot or cold, and it's good either way!!♡

Of course, I love the trio’s friendship a lot!

The Severus and McGonagall friendship is not really shown that much in canon but I know those two are friends and I love the idea of that.

I feel like Remus and I would be quite good friends honestly.

What does Portia look for in a guy/girl (dating)? Does blood status matter to her??

portia values intellect in a partner, as well as someone with ambitions, but also, she values humor. sometimes she feels like she is required to be serious and proper all of the time, so she really enjoys when she feels like she’s with someone she can joke around with and who will make her feel relaxed. blood status doesn’t matter to her. her grandparents push the pure-blood agenda on her often, but her own mother is muggle-born; she falls for the person, not their blood status.

44: Invisibility cloak, elder wand, or resurrection stone?

This one is difficult! I’m inclined to say the Invisibility Cloak, because I feel that it could have so many uses and be incredibly helpful -- but also, I feel like it would be hard for me to pass up the Elder Wand.

15: Character you would bring back to life?

This was a toss up between Severus or Remus, but I have to say Severus, and here’s why: I feel like he never truly got to live out a life in which he could heal and move on from his past. Even though he changed the narrow-minded views he found himself having when he was in school, he never got to truly live as such, because he had to maintain his connections in order for his cover as a Death Eater to remain in tact for when Voldemort returned.

I feel like we never truly got to see the real Severus; we saw the man he had to be. We got glimpses, but nothing for sure; we’ve never seen him without his job of having to be a spy hanging over his head.

Also, he didn’t get to live a life with his redemption/heroism known. He died with everyone believing he was a Death Eater. Also, he never moved away from Spinner’s End, and here’s an excellent post that encompasses how I feel about that.

I understand from a writer’s perspective why Severus died; I feel like it brought his Tragic Hero storyline to a full close. But I also would have loved to see him be able to heal and be free. (I’m working on a Snape lives AU fic that may or may not involve just that, *wink wonk*)

29: Unicorns or Thestrals

Unicorns. I don’t have a solid reason, I just think it’s cute that they’re "the purest creatures” and have healing properties.

42: Favorite of the Golden Trio?

Harry! I love that boy. I think he’s a genuinely good person and good character. I love the emotional depth JK Rowling explored with his story, and his bravery is beautiful. Not to mention his sass always has me cackling. There’s no need to call me sir, Professor.

Do any of your ocs have a favourite dessert? If so, what is it?? 🥧

Let's see, off the top of my head... Lou loves ice cream (they don't have a favorite flavor) and Acheflow LOVES chocolate!

Aria is a fan of cheesecake, Scarlet would be a huge fan of banana splits, and I'm pretty sure Rhianwyn would like macarons!

Your ocs have been invited to a masquerade ball, what would their outfits look like? (Sorry for the spam XD)

Ohh, this sounds fun, but I'm going to limit it to one girl per WIP, because I have a feeling this could go a little long!

Gwendolyn: Having demonstrated a lack of willingness for color, Theodores' mother would insist on choosing an outfit for her. The royals tend to wear purples, so that's what Gwendolyn would get (hint hint Theodore). It would have a longer, flowy skirt with kind of gauzy layers that twirled when she moved, and a tighter top that tied more like a corset in the back! Her mask would be white with purple accents, to match the clothes and shoes she would also be given!

Acheflow: On the chance she does end up going, someone else would take matters in their own hands with an outfit! She'd end up in a style similar to Gwendolyn's, except without the gauzy parts. She'd have a dark blue and silver color scheme; very night-sky-ish! No gloves, and her mask would incorporate stars/constellation like things in the design (also silver!)

Aria: The only one of the girls here that would choose her own outfit, she goes pink! The exact shade would depend on the actual event, but pink and rose gold is what she goes for. The dress would be more form-fitting and less... whimsical than the other two! She also goes with much higher heels, and her accessories are much more extravagant, including the way she styles her hair!
