@moonlightmischief LISTEN Martha and Donna are the BEST companions and i love the couple episodes where they interact bc their personalities mesh so well and i wish they could have gotten more time 2 hang out ??? just stand around and talk abt Martha’s job or Donna temping or what Donna would do if she could do anything or what Martha would do if she could do anything and they just... talk about their families. their lives. (and of course shit talk Ten until he goes and sits in a corner and pouts)
they both change the Doctor in such good ways. they r both such a big part of him??? i would die for both Martha Jones and Donna Noble if i could i adore them.
i adore Martha with my soul. i will forever sob over Martha Jones and the Year That Never Was. i will cry over how pure her love for the Doctor is, and how compassionate she is, and how strong and emotional she is ??? and how she brought him back from the brink of losing himself, and how in the end, Martha took care of herself
honestly thats my fave part about Martha??? she always had a choice, and in the end she picked herself over him. its so good. shes so amazing
AND DONNA. god!!!!!
Donna: *is introduced*
me, actively sobbing: the Doctor, Donna.
Donna is, 4 me, the most relatable character cause she hates herself. she thinks shes worth nothing bc shes just... ordinary, and a temp. but god she is incredible because of all that ??? and she learns 2 love and appreciate herself for being a Simple Human
and then it all gets ripped away :) and she hates herself again. thinks shes worthless. listen i cant talk about Donna without crying bc i always remember, “Did you think I would leave my best friend unprotected?”
