Since roleplay is bascially collaborative writing, or coauthoring a piece, I really do enjoy it when roleplayers add environmental descriptions into their replies. It takes the characters from simply talking back and forth to playing out on a stage, or within an interactive environment. ‘All the world’s a stage’ and all that jazz. I also have to admit that taking things from my headcanons or from roleplays within the same verse where something happened with another muse? That goes a long way for just about every writer on here.We love to know that you’ve been paying attention and learning about our characters. I say as if I can speak for the whole community like the lil noob I am… Sorry.

When we all get together and collaborate across different threads, though?It takes me back to the roleplay forums my friends in high school introduced me to six or seven years ago, where it really did turn into it’s own little world.Those moments are absolute magic.
