They’d been hunting her for a few days, not that she was trying that hard to hide. She left them little hints, inklings of where she’d been; just enough that a decent tracker would be able to follow. It was a game; they were mere toys, the Silver Hand. Though these toys were a bit of a nuisance. They followed a similar mindset as the Vigilants of Stendarr, but the Silver Hand were more akin to bandits than devotees carrying out the will of a divine.
Moving downwind, Ayalea was able to keep track of the hunters following her; it’d been a constant stream of stink, but it suddenly changed course, and a new scent reached her. It was faint, a good distance away, but it was most definitely that of a werewolf’s; whether it was in its beast form, she couldn’t tell.
Ayalea too changed course, deciding an addition to this game of chase would be interesting.
