Zelena watched and winced as her daughter screamed in frustration, the arrow missing the target by a fraction. She took a deep breath before approaching Robyn. “You’re thinking too much.”

“Not a bloody clue,” Robin admitted with a shrug. She stared at the bottle for a few seconds before glancing up at Gretel with a smirk. “I ain’t sharing cos I don’t know who you are, love,” she replied. “And you didn’t ask nicely.”
“Pleaseeee share the yummy looking but unknown alcohol?” There’s a smirk sent back at her. “Amber Branson. So now you know who I am love.”

“Tilly’s not in today.” Sabine wasn’t blind. She’d always been more observant than most, and since Tilly’s first day, she had seen the girl around a few more times. Of course, Tilly only worked every other day. Leaving Drew to the truck, she stepped out for a moment, a smile on her face. “But I can tell her you stopped by.”

Alice looked up, unable to stop the smile from curling her lips, unable to stop the way her heart pounded even harder at seeing her. As the minutes had ticked on, as the sun had set, she had begun to think that maybe--just maybe--she wouldn’t be coming...

Alice was glad to see she was wrong about at least that much, even if the magic in the air was growing heavier, even if the darkness was getting thicker.
