He does his best not to look too much out of his depth, turning his head subtly this way and that to take in the marketplace -- shopping centre? He's never been to one before, and he's overwhelmed; the entirety of Mos Eisley could probably fit inside one section of this building. Moreover, it's bursting with people, and they're not like the citizens of Tatooine. They're bright, colourful, dressed in all manner of clothing. Once in a while you'd get an interesting visitor to one of the big ports back home, and that was always an event. Here? They wouldn't even warrant a second glance, he'd imagine. So distracted is he that he nearly loses sight of Leia, having to hasten to catch up. "This place is huge!" he exclaims softly. Or he tries to. Volume control has never been his strong suit.

Anakin hadn't been deployed since Ahsoka left..since she had left him. He had been quiet, probably quieter than he had ever been. Obi-Wan had even commented, that he never was this quiet, not even when he slept. But, he didn't say much either way about it. He still couldn't get any of it, out of his mind.

She had left. Ahsoka had left. She had left, because she needed to be without him. Those may not have been her words, but those were the words that he heard coming out of her mouth.

He gave up working on his ship, and went back to Padme's penthouse, even though he knew she likely wasn't home yet, and decided that most everything in the kitchen needed to be worked on, so he worked on repairing things, that didn't need to be repaired.

R2-D2 had even given him a disapproving look but stepped back, avoiding his maintenance.

"I'm just updating things. I'm fine, R2. Go get me my extra tools, so we can check to make sure your mainframe is up to speed." The droid then sped off down the hallway and he heard the door close and lock.

Okay, maintenance would have to wait. He was still fixing things, anyway. Anything he could fix was better than Ahsoka leaving.

“SUNDAY” THEMED PROMPTS (+18/CW) - I was thinking about you all day.

Where her mouth parts should be a swift reply, something playful and smart. Instead, a butterfly blush keeps her cheeks burning pink. If there's any way to recover from this, she doesn't want it. She'd remind blissed out, floating in the middle forever if she could.

She leans into his space. Her eyes flicker down and back up to meet his own. "I've been thinking about you since you first kissed me." She confessed. She had rejected it but if she could go back, she'd remedy that slight. There is something deeply and maybe irreversible broken in her. But he makes her feel hopeful again. That not everything good and sweet is gone.

She had been thinking about him today, too.

She had tried to take a nap earlier and the thought of him kept her from it. If he were there, she probably wouldn't have gotten much sleep either. But at least wouldn't be thinking about lost sleep. She leans in a little closer, "When you thought of me, was it with or without clothes?"

" the brunnett responded, careful not to let any judgement seep into her tone. was this really the new recruit the rebellion spoke so highly of? she was still getting acquainted with luke and couldn't yet tell if he were serious or just messing around. "I know, that's what concerns me." But it's clear Padme won't be talked out of her plans, so Seril gives a small nod. "At least let me help, then. What can I do?"

there was a part of him that didn't care. a part of him that just wanted to rush over to her this instant, parting through the huddle of senators to sweep her up into his arms. they had been apart for far too long and his entire being was just aching to reunite with her again. but they had an appearance to keep up and a marriage to keep secret ; the galaxy simply could not know about them. and it constantly tore him apart.

so to his better judgement, he waited. he waited for the huddle to disband and waited for her to make the approach. he awaited her in the extension of the corridor within the senate building, gaze scanning to assure there were no others present.

❝ i've missed you. ❞ he spoke as she closed in, his arms wrapping around her in an embrace. his words weren't needed as it was more than obvious in the way that he held her and by the short but very telling kiss he stole. ❝ i can only survive off of holocoms for so long. ❞

there was the slightest delay before lexa's head turned to face the other padawan. " i really hope this isn't a 'the jedi council is going to have our heads' kind of huge, tiny mistake. " emerald eyes studied the other's body language in an attempt to better assess the situation. other people might panic and prepare for defeat, but the brunette was certain they could handle whatever was troubling ahsoka. " hey- " lexa nudged her peer. " you know i'll help you, right? of course, i will be needing context. "

her residency on coruscant had been enjoyable.... until the war had started. sure, she was here for the sole purpose of creating a political bond to strengthen inuja's relationship for her upcoming time as its ruler. but with anakin gone for months at a time....perhaps she found it a bit lonely.

so when she caught wind he was coming back? the inujan princess dressed down to avoid unwanted attention ( though she was sure anakin would attract that regardless ) giving him the coordinates to their meeting place without concern for her own safety. when he initially arrived, she tried her best to contain her excitement, practically crushing him in a hug. and the evening went on, the pair a few drinks in, thankfully unbothered by other patrons.

his admittance caught her by surprise, cheeks flushing a bright red while her gaze shifted into her lap. had she heard him right?

eris pressed her lips together in an attempt to suppress a smile, eyes finally daring to swivel back up to his. " you missed me? really? " she was serious, but there was a tone of teasing. why did that excite her so much to hear that? the princess leaned in, putting her elbow on the countertop, resting her chin in her hand. " .... did you... " her free hand swirled her cup in her hand, gaze shifting from side to side.
